About the role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our cloud and on-prem infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that support our development and operational environments. As a Design Authority, you will lead architectural decisions and ensure best practices are followed.
Responsibilities:
Design and Architect: Lead the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premise environments, with a focus on Azure, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage Terraform to automate the deployment of infrastructure, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and security across all environments.
Kubernetes Management: Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and monitoring of microservices.
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that integrate with various development tools, facilitating automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Microsoft Azure Expertise: Design, deploy, and manage resources on the Azure stack, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and more.
Systems Architecture: Be the Design Authority across all systems, ensuring that architecture decisions align with security, performance, and reliability best practices.
Networking & Security: Manage and optimize network configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and other security elements to protect infrastructure.
Device & Identity Management: Manage Azure Active Directory and implement identity management solutions, including Intune and CAP, ensuring secure access and compliance with company policies.
Monitoring & Incident Management: Implement monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure and application performance, quickly responding to and resolving incidents.
Collaboration: Work closely with software engineering teams to support development lifecycles, enhancing the synergy between infrastructure, development, and operations.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies, continuously improving infrastructure and processes to meet evolving business needs.
Skills & Experience:
Microsoft Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, Azure AD, and Azure Networking.
Software Engineering Experience: Understanding of software lifecycles and DevOps best practices.
Kubernetes & Terraform: Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and using Terraform for IaC.
CI/CD & Automation: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Networking & Security: Familiarity with VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and security frameworks.
Excellent Communication: Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Bonus points if you have:
Data Engineering experience.
Microsoft Azure certifications.
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).

As part of our data transformation journey, we're looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of our analytical data platforms and customer-facing data products. The role has a direct impact on how our customers consume our content and data. The role requires an individual who can focus on the detail while being aware of customer needs and the wider product development strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines to power new initiative data products in the commodity industry.
Use the latest data analytics and quality tools to ensure our data meets our strict data standards.
Design and implement new data pipelines using best in class tools such as Airflow, DBT etc.
Build a scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure using modern technologies such as terraform.
Build quality data software leveraging best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant experience.
