Job Overview
The Business Support Officer will provide highly efficient and professional business support across the Corporate Governance directorate. They will also provide dedicated and confidential administrative and business support to the Director of Corporate Governance.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly as part of the wider Corporate Governance directorate and to the Director of Corporate Governance and Chief Business Officer. They will be given the autonomy to prioritise work to ensure that the Director is fully briefed, prepared, and supported, in all aspects of their functions. The post holder will be expected to seek advice when necessary but will be responsible for managing own area of work.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be the main point of contact for general queries from within the organisation and act with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. The individual will need to be able to arrange high-level meetings, take notes, track matters, manage action and decision logs and other business / administrative functions for the team.
This is a high trust role that will be expected to demonstrate high levels of integrity and commitment. There will be a need for the post holder to handle highly confidential and sometimes very contentious and sensitive information of a personal, financial and political nature and will therefore be relied upon to observe and comply with specific and implied confidentiality rules and policies.

Job Overview
This will be a fast-paced role, so the ideal candidate will be experienced in end to end recruitment, liaising with stakeholders of all levels across the trust to provide advice and guidance in all aspects of the recruitment process. This will include providing professional advice, administration and support to Medical leads on medical recruitment processes for all grades of Doctors including the appointment of Consultants and coordinating AAC Panels.
You will be required to assist the Assistant Recruitment Manager in ensuring that post and establishment lists are consistent and kept up to date. Manage, within appropriate timescales, the process of the issue to all medical staff of contracts of employment and changes to their terms and conditions. You will be pro-active in identifying and devising ways in which the Medical recruitment function for Medical and Dental staff can be improved liaising, where appropriate, with the Health Board's Assistant Recruitment Manger. Ideally you will need to be experienced using TRAC, NHS Jobs and ESR, however training will be provided for the right candidate.
A flexible approach due to the needs of the service is essential, along with the ability to work to ever challenging demands and priorities.
This post is Fixed Term/Secondment for 6 months due to the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
To adhere to the Health Board’s recruitment and selection procedures, advising Consultants and managers of best practice and up to date legislation in line with the Trust’s Recruitment and Selection Policy and Equal Opportunities Policy.
Manage the Consultant recruitment process (Advisory Appointment Committees) and administer panels as and when required, ensuring that the correct process is followed and representation on the panel meets regulations.
Liaise closely with the HEIW and NWSSP Single Lead Employer.
Provide advice and support in relation to appropriate selection processes making recommendations for streamlining existing practices and introducing new methods upon which robust recruitment decisions can be made, liaising with the Assistant Recruitment Manager where appropriate.
Ensure that all recruitment activity complies with NHS Employment Check standards and pre-employment checks are carried out.
Ensure that remuneration and grading information is assessed accurately in accordance with the relevant Medical and Dental terms and conditions and Trust guidance, using the IAT process.
There will be a requirement to work in the office for initial training. Longer term we can offer agile working with team members working flexibly between home and the office.

Band 5 Radiology Nurse - Grange University Hospital - GUH
This post is a 12 Month- Fixed term contract to provide Maternity Leave Cover.

Working days Mon- Fri (4 x 8hr shifts and 1 x 5.5 hr shift), plus joining the on call rota for nights and weekends.

Main duties of the job
This role involves working within IR Theatre: working as a scrub assistant, acting as circulating nurse and monitoring and caring for patients undergoing a variety procedures.

This post involves working across sites at GUH and RGH and participating in a 24/7 on call rota.
Working within radiology requires the wearing of personal protective equipment including the wearing of lead coats for significant periods of time.

The pharmacy provides a high-quality medicines service, supplying medication to a variety of patients and wards/departments at GUH, the majority of which is processed by our automated robot dispensing system.
The role will involve dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals, restocking and optimisation of pharmacy robotic storage and being part of the wider pharmacy team in providing a medicines management service at ward level. The role will be Monday - Friday, but there will be a need for weekend working on a rotational basis.
