What will you be doing day-to-day?
As a Junior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the development and enhancement of user interfaces, backend APIs, and databases under the guidance of senior team members.
Supporting technical design and code implementation by contributing to coding tasks and design discussions.
Participating in code reviews and Agile ceremonies to gain insight and feedback on development processes.
Learning and assisting with automated testing and CI/CD practices to help ensure solution quality and reliability.
Collaborating closely with other team members and key stakeholders to understand project objectives, timelines, and dependencies.
Engaging in personal and professional development to enhance skills and advance your career.
What you’ll need
The ideal candidate will have:
Foundational knowledge in Java (Java 8 or later) and object-oriented programming (OOP). Candidates with experience in other object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, Ruby) will also be considered.
Foundational Knowledge in SQL.
Familiarity with source code version control systems (ideally Git).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
A desire to learn and grow.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Commercial & Strategy Product Manager to bring together strategy and the commercial realities of Gamma’s business in the area of Voice Enablement. This person will ensure that Gamma has a long term and short-term plan for the evolution of our Voice Enablement offering and which supports the short- and long-term commercial success within this area. The role acts around a small number of Voice Enablement products to drive and support successful evolution of the capabilities that we have today and support definition of capabilities we need in this space in the future.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
As a part of the Commercial & Strategy Product team you will drive the evolution of a product or group of products within Gamma across all the markets and countries. Your key roles will include:
Build a strategy for how Gamma leverages our market leading UK SIP position to becoming Europe’s most successful Voice Enablement provider – considering all strategic options to get there.
Be the domain knowledge expert in all things Voice Enablement – understand the industry, the key players, their routes to market, how they perform, and why they succeed.
Define, agree, and communicate the evolution paths for the Voice Enablement product and associated services
Engagement with a range of internal & external stakeholders
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that portfolio evolution occurs at the right pace
Working with Product Marketing, particularly to define communication strategies and track delivery of specific activities.
Working in partnership with the Procurement team, drive and manage suppliers to deliver requirements and commercials needed to ensure Gamma maintains competitive advantage.
Build and own the end-to-end business case for products within your remit and be able to challenge and drive growth through your understanding of the market and customers
Understand the costs and constraints on the product
Working with technology to understand what the detailed roadmap will deliver and when and maintain a healthy dialogue to advocate for the right sequence of delivery
What You’ll Need
Commercial and product management in a technology or telecommunications environment
Experience working with Voice Enablement products and services
Will bring a strong end-to-end ownership attitude, with a relentless focus on helping us achieve success across the Gamma business, focussing attention where it is most needed.
Will demonstrate deep understanding of B2B environments and associated routes to market.
You’ll have an excellent understand of the nuances of both direct and channel sales models.
Experience of supporting and working within complex vendor relationships
Influencing skills (without hierarchical authority)
Able to work to tight timescales
Will have strong experience of understanding how a product gets enabled for new routes to market including technical aspects and the GTM.
You’ll be Proficient in the use of IT with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook.

Who are we looking for?
Software Engineers are responsible for developing and maintaining the Group Applications suite of proprietary UCaaS & CCaaS solutions, including building new features and functionality across the platform and web/desktop user interfaces.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
Collaborate with product and engineering peers to scope, plan and estimate requirements, ensuring all solutions are well thought through and future proof.
Adhere to defined engineering practices and processes.
Develop new features and functionality across the platform and applications, whilst maintaining the stability of existing codebase, using TypeScript Node,js and React.
Integrate with relevant third party services and tools where required, ensuring best practice integration rules are adhered to and integrations are stable.
Develop REST APIs using best practice standards and conventions.
Produce Solution Design documents for review before implementation including detail on security considerations, testing required and potential impacts across the stack.
Use JavaScript unit and end to end test frameworks to ensure a high level of coverage across the platform and applications.
Take an active role in peer code reviews and code deployment via CICD pipelines.
What you’ll need:
Strong experience using, and good working knowledge of TypeScript
Extensive experience developing applications using React
Good knowledge of HTML/CSS (3+ years)
Experience using JavaScript unit & e2e test frameworks (eg. Jest, Playwright)
Experience deploying code using CICD pipelines.
Experience working with and mentoring junior engineers.
AWS (or Azure/GCP) knowledge or experience is beneficial.
Kubernetes (Not required but beneficial)
VoIP/WebRTC experience (Not required but highly beneficial)
