Job Description
PowerBI Developer –Developer, Data Factory, Datafactory, Dataverse, Data Bricks, DataBricks, Synapse, D365FO, D365 F&O, PowerApps, Power Apps, Azure SQL, SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, report developer, PowerBI, Bug Fix, D365, Dynamics 365, Visual Studio, T-SQL - UK wide – Remote - £500-£550 per day outside IR35

Our end user client is currently looking for a PowerBI Developer to join them for an initial 3-month contract to help develop datasets, data models and reports. This person will ideally have had experience working with the Dynamics 365 or Dynamics AX platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain complex PowerBI solutions: Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced BI solutions using technologies such as Azure Data Bricks, Data Factory and Power BI to meet business requirements.
Optimize data models and queries: Analyse data models and queries to optimize performance and ensure efficient use of resources.
Ensure that all work is carried through the environments, source controlled with regularity and deployments packages are robust and well organised. Ensuring all conflicts in this area are merged/escalated effectively.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other members of the IT team to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity: Develop and implement data quality checks and data cleansing processes to ensure accurate and consistent data across all BI solutions.
Identify, report, and fix material bugs and deficiencies in the tools used, utilising internal and external resources.

Location: UK Wide

D365 Finance support specialist– Dynamics 365, D365, Dynamics 365 F&O, Dynamics ax, Finance & Operations, Functional consultant, Support consultant, support specialist, 2nd line support, 3rd line support, Finance, Financials, Cash, AR, AP, Project ops, GL, accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Fixed Assets, Customer invoicing, Tax handling, Procurement, Cost accounting, Support – Andover – Hybrid - £70k

Our client, a global manufacturing and retail organisation, is looking for a D365 finance support specialist to join them on a fixed term basis to support the Finance Solution Specialist in the delivery of the Finance workstream within the D365 F&O programme, providing post implementation 2nd/3rd line support for D365 ERP solutions.

This is a fixed term contract, until 31/12/2025 and will require 3 days per week on site in Hampshire.

Key Skills & Experience:

5+ years ERP implementation and support experience, in D365 F&O.
Exposure to Commerce, WMS or Supply Chain Management areas would be beneficial.
Knowledge of Azure Devops.
Experience participating in the requirements gathering process for IT systems.
Experience of Data Management workspace.
Proven experience and knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Taxation processes.
Bachelor’s Degree: Business or Technology related BA/BS.
Dynamics 365 F&O or AX (2012 R3) certifications.
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of aspects of business management and strategic evaluation.
Ability to pick up new concepts and technologies.
Attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and meet project deadlines
Fluent English, additional languages would be an asset

Main Responsibilities:

Assisting the Finance Solution Specialist in setting up the following modules:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Cash and Bank Management
Expense Management
Fixed Assets
General Ledger
Inventory Management
Landed Costs
Procurement and Sourcing
Project Management and Accounting
Tax

Understanding of Print Management setup.
Knowledge of Electronic Reporting functionality in D365 and how to troubleshoot issues.
Creating workflows and supporting issues.
Assist in fit/gap analysis for future rollouts.
Running training sessions.
Provide second/third line support to key users, identifying and investigating problems, issues or small changes and following an escalation process based on the Support Model.
Communicate and trouble-shoot Incidents and Problems alongside third party providers where required in a timely and professional manner through to resolution.
Ensure support calls are logged and the resolution is documented on the support site.
Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with the issues.
Proactively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support calls in a professional and timely manner.
Facilitate testing and acceptance of new solutions.
Work directly with business analysts and/or business partners at different levels to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
Conduct analysis between ERP installation and new business requirements, creating functional specification documentation (standard, customised, ISV integrations).
Adhere to the business project lifecycle, including quality assurance and testing of solutions and CAB approval before release.
