Your responsibilities:
Maintain and manage YAML configuration files.
Implement and oversee GitOps workflows to ensure streamlined deployment processes and version control.
Deploy and manage applications, Kubernetes resources, and Helm charts within OpenShift environments.
Configure OpenShift clusters and manage configurations through GitOps practices.
Perform Unix-based deployment tasks and manage Kubernetes pods, routes, and application sets.
Automate deployment workflows and platform configurations using Ansible Tower.
Review and correct contractor-provided configurations to align with company standards.
Act as a liaison between contractors (e.g., CSP) and the company, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
Oversee application deployments using GitOps methodologies and Helm charts.
Ensure deployment workflows across platforms are reliable, consistent, and efficient.
Understand needs from different teams (e.g. infrastructure, software teams) and help to define the best practices that will help to reduce the gap between development and operations and improve the efficiency of the software development life cycle.
Collaborate with contractors and IBM teams to resolve deployment and platform-related issues.
Facilitate communication between teams to address technical challenges and enhance operations.

Your profile:
Must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality is required).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
Fluency in English

Technical Skills:
GitHub: Expertise in version control, configuration management, and implementing GitOps practices for automated and reliable deployments.
Helm Charts: Skilled in creating, managing, and version-controlling Helm charts for application deployments, with rollback capabilities.
ArgoCD: Hands-on experience in continuous delivery and deployment orchestration using ArgoCD.
OpenShift: Comprehensive knowledge of OpenShift, including:
Deploying and managing applications and Kubernetes resources.
Working with pods, routes, and application sets.
Utilizing GitOps workflows and Helm charts for version control.
Executing Unix commands as part of deployments and troubleshooting.
Manage OpenShift configurations via GitOps.
Artifactory: Basic understanding of Artifactory mirrors and their usage in deployment pipelines.
Ansible Automation Platform: Proficient in using Ansible Automation Platform for automation and orchestration tasks.
Delinea Thycotic (or similar): Adept at utilizing Delinea Thycotic for privileged access management, ensuring secure and compliant access to critical systems and applications.

Role: DevOps Engineer (at least 7 years experience in total,

Candidates for both profiles must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality is required).

Rate: Onsite rate 600 EUR/day.
