You will carry out effective OSINT research whilst utilising internal data sources to support the investigative process into individuals and companies to provide our client with an accurate assessment of the status, legitimacy, general background, and overall reputation of the subjects and their business interests.

Review a variety of reports for self-development purposes.

Role Requirements

Essential:
Excellent attention-to-detail, with a methodical approach when dealing with various information sources.
Strong essay and report-writing skills, with the ability to structure information in a coherent format.
A naturally questioning and curious mind, willing to use your initiative and go further to establish the facts.

Desirable:
An interest in international politics, finance, crime and security would be beneficial.
Knowledge of a foreign language desirable (Kurdish)

Job Description

We are looking for freelancers/contractors for a 12 months fixed-term time to join our team in La Rochelle, France.
There are two roles on this location we need suitable candidates for:

Job Title: Train Manager
Location: La Rochelle, France
Language: French
Purpose of the Job:
Ensure adequate train preparation and availability during test phases.
Manage proper EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) during heavy rolling stock testing.
Oversee the execution of rolling stock tests.
Reporting Structure:
Hierarchical Reporting: Site T&C Director
Functional Reporting: PrTCM and Test Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Represent the PrTCM during validation and certification tests.
Prepare test implementation, including staffing, tools, and spare parts.
Check the train's ability to complete tests.
Organize and reserve track slots.
Conduct tests and provide instructions to the driver.
Produce failure reports and test books.
Coordinate onboard actors and ensure overall safety.
Manage the First Aid Box and emergency protocols.
Ensure proper configuration management of the test train set.
Specific Responsibilities Based on Test Locations:
Rolling Stock Sites: Oversee test implementation, coordinate with the Serial Test Manager, and ensure safety.
Private Test Centers: Coordinate with the Test Manager and Railway Test Centre, manage test slots, and ensure safety.
Public Infrastructure: Coordinate with the Testing Body, manage test implementation, and ensure safety.
Skills & Experience:
Experienced Test or Certification/Validation Technician.
Structured and organized approach.
Strong coordination skills and decision-making ability.

Liaise with external parties such as customers and suppliers.
Critical Aspects:
Ensure train preparation.
Conduct tests with precise instructions to the driver.
Ideal Candidate:
Substantial experience as a Test or Certification/Validation Technician.
Structured and organized approach.
Strong decision-making and coordination skills.
Experience in EHS management and test coordination is beneficial.
