Job Description
Monarch Education are currently seeking a cohort of Level 2 and 3 Teaching Assistants to work with a large group of schools based around South Bristol. The group of schools are looking for candidates with a passion and excitement for benefiting children's learning and and personal development. We are looking for people to work in both a mainstream setting and SEND setting. The right candidate must have experience in either one of these settings or clear and visible transferable skills.

The schools you'll be working with range from an Ofsted rating of "GOOD" to the rating of "OUTSTANDING" all the schools share a similar ethos of approaching learning with an exciting and engaging attitude, with a huge emphasis on inclusivity and diversity within the school setting. They're ideally looking for candidates to start at the beginning of the new academic year to embed themselves within the schools culture.

This particular role allows flexibility as you can decide whether to operate on part time or full-time basis. If this isn't for you we can offer alternative roles and you just provide us with the days that you would like to work, the hours you would like to work, and the schools you would like to support in, and we then fill up your week. We have excellent rates of pay between £90 and £95 a day, and the type of payroll you would like to be on (we offer both Umbrella and PAYE).

Job Description
KS2 Teaching Assistant - Bury (BL8)

Supportive school environment
1:1 support role

Full-time (5 days a week) (8:30am - 3:30pm)

A primary school in Bury (BL8) are looking to appoint a full-time teaching assistant to support a child in Year 6 and full be for the full school day.

This role will be for the rest of the academic year, with the potential of being extended or offered a permanent contract by the school.

The successful candidate will need to have strong behaviour management and will need to be especially strong on boundaries within the classroom. Experience with SEN is desired but not necessary.

The school is extremely supportive of staff and are happy to offer training and in-class support for the appointed person. The school is easily accessible via car or public transport.

Monarch Education are working alongside a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities school in Kettering. This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, for example in schools or with children/young adults.

The candidate needs to...

Be qualified as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or above (essential)
Have experience with children or young adults (essential)
Be able to work with and support SEND pupils
Have a professional manner
Be friendly and resilient
Have a desire to support children
Have excellent behaviour management skills, or be willing to learn
Provide references relevant to this chosen role
Support children and young adults who may require 1:1 support
Build great relationships with staff and children
Be able to work on site and off site, managing behaviours in both areas
