At a Glance

Salary - £57,000-£81,100
Contract type - This is a permanent position.
Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team aim for around 2-3 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.
Location - This role is based at our Bracknell Head Office.

What will you be doing?

Our PackagingDevelopment Managers have responsibility for NPD and EPD packaging deliverables across our multiple categories. Ensure all packaging projects meet brand vision, specifications, and quality in a timely manner, and continue to improve on packaging processes for the business via a combination of relationships with packaging suppliers, our product suppliers and cross functional teams.

Focussed on harnessing and managing, product, technical and packaging research, development and innovation capability to develop a best in class product plan To extend our differentiated market position and is aligned to our overall customer proposition. Designs and delivers innovative, safe, sustainable and differentiated packaging and delivers efficient and cost effective artwork for Own Brand products. To define and enable delivery against advanced packaging targets.

A key part of this role will be working within the packaging team to identify, develop and implement own label packaging and material opportunities that add value and deliver effective and innovative packaging, meeting the packaging targets and delivering our environmental commitments to support the Ethics and Sustainability strategy. You will ensure conformance with Partnership and regulatory policies and procedures at all times and deliver safe and sustainable packaging solutions.

Essential Skills/experience You’ll Need

Experienced in packaging development, particularly within FMCG
Extensive knowledge of packaging development across all/most media i.e. board, flexible film, adhesive labels, fluted board etc.
Ability to react and adapt in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of change & pace
Strong and effective resource and stakeholder management, ability to explain technical details to non-technical colleagues.
Forward thinking & innovative, an independent self-starter who can both improve and deliver.
Compliance (GSCOP, Competitive Law etc.)
Ability to demonstrate a genuine interest and enthusiasm in product/packaging trends and innovation
Communicating and collaboration at all levels of the business with strong presentation and influencing skills

About The Role

Salary: £53,000 - £85,000
Contract type: 12 month Secondment/Fixed Term - to March 2026

Location: This role is based at our Bracknell Head Office

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the CRM comms strategy across all direct marketing channels to deliver personalised customer journeys that meet defined commercial, customer and brand objectives.

As a CRM Senior Manager you will be passionate about customers, data and an ambassador of personalisation. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Waitrose Customer strategy and transformation.

You’ll lead the team in their ambition to keep customers shopping and loyal to Waitrose, inspiring our customers and ensuring we minimise churn. Alongside working closely with our agencies to leverage their expertise to push the boundaries.

You will lead in delivering the trading sales targets through newsletters, trigger emails and continuously testing new and innovative campaigns and opportunities. But you will also lead the Waitrose ambition to increase Customer Lifetime Value by delivering personalised customer lifecycle journeys (focusing on Retention & Win-back) across CRM comms.

You will have 2 direct reports.

Essential Skills/experience You’ll Need

Managing a CRM team, coaching and developing individuals
Solid CRM experience working on high profile multi-channel consumer brand with sizeable customer database.
Solid experience in designing and running CRM / email / direct marketing / app marketing campaigns. Setting and delivering enterprise level and automated Personalisation strategy
Strong commercial awareness with accurate forecasting and cost control.
Strong understanding and experience of driving omnichannel customer behaviour
Successfully manages multiple stakeholders at senior levels, and excellent influencing skills
Ability to balance between customer insights and commercial outcomes
Planning and prioritisation
Analytical mindset

About The Role

Salary - £49,600 - £74,900
Contract type - This is a Secondment/Fixed Term Contract position ending November 2025.

What will you be doing?

As a Forecasting Manager, you will lead a CPG Forecasting team to deliver all elements of the forecasting plan, and the creation of accurate demand forecasts for all items, locations and demand streams, including ecommerce, ensuring that the team individually and collectively play a full part in the success of the CPG, and that the critical balance between availability, wastage and stock holding is achieved.

You will act as the technical expert and coach for your own team, ensuring consistent application of processes through coaching and development. Share this knowledge across other merchandising teams as appropriate, drawing on the skills and knowledge of the Super Users as necessary.

You will also support the Manager, Forecasting in setting the strategic direction of the trading directorate forecasting plan. Work with the wider Merchandising team to drive robust improvements and processes that contribute to the success of the department.

About The Role

Salary: £42,700 - £64,000
Contract type: 5 month Secondment/Fixed Term - to August 2025

As we transform our approach to CRM we are looking for someone to support with the activation of first party data across our channels. The successful candidate will be analytically minded, co-create campaign selections alongside our CRM managers to enhance our targeting and communication strategy as well as digging deep into the data to get insights that will drive improvements across our campaigns.

This role will work closely with our data, insights and analytics teams to ensure gold standard measurement across our CRM activity and be able to bring their specialism to provide recommendations both to campaigns and to wider CRM strategy.

This role will incorporate audience building for digital and social channels as well so an understanding of digital advertising is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

To design and create customer selections and output of customer data for email, push, sms, direct marketing, social and digital audiences.
To work closely with the CRM Managers to understand Waitrose campaign targeting needs; translate campaign briefs into effective targeting and audience selection to meet commercial and business objectives and enable relevant communications for multiple audiences and segmentations.
Identify and interpret new opportunities or improvements to meet goals and ambitions for our CRM communication programmes.
Support and input into data strategies to ensure that CRM and broader Channels team have access to the required data to enhance our communications and deliver against our strategy.
Support and enable automation across selections to streamline processes
