We are growing our engineering teams at Trustpilot and are looking to welcome onboard a mid-level Fullstack Software Engineer within our Growth Adoption team!

You will join a cross-functional team with full ownership of our products and codebase, where you will take part in every step of the development process, from ideation to maintenance. A place where you can grow as an individual, while also having an influence (or even lead) the direction of projects and technological choices.

The Growth Adoption Team

The Growth Adoption team is part of the Growth portfolio, which consists of three teams: Acquisition, Adoption, and Monetization. The mission of the Growth Adoption team is to make users fall in love with our Trustpilot B2B app by showing customers the value of Trustpilot and empowering them to use our platform efficiently and with ease. We make data-driven decisions and love experimenting to test our hypotheses. This team is for you if you're an engineer with a drive to delight your users!

What You’ll Be Doing

You will lead mid-sized projects that will align with the mission and OKRs of your team
Work in a cross-functional “full ownership” team alongside Product, Design, and Data Science where you will take part in every step of the process of building, from ideation and design to architecture, code, deployment, and maintenance
Collaboration: Take part in decision-making and design discussions during the development
Help plan, implement, and release new features
Propose ideas clearly and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
Troubleshoot existing software
Help us raise the bar: Inspire and challenge those around you with your knowledge of how to solve problems
Data-driven mindset: Analyze, gather, and aggregate data to support decisions, both technical and non-technical

Who You Are

Experience in full-stack web development (extra point if also in a cross-functional team)
Cloud experience is essential
Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed cloud services
Experience with component-based front-end development (ideally React, but we know you can learn quickly)
A customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset with a bias to action
You are a lifelong learner. You promote a culture of continuous feedback and learning
Ambitious and passionate about your work. You constantly look to raise the bar for yourself and those around you in everything you do
You believe that diversity in teams makes a difference

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and eager Junior Software Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at Trustpilot. While prior knowledge of all technologies used by the Data Engineering team (Cloud Composer, Kafka, Apache Beam, BigQuery, MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB) is not expected, we encourage you to apply if you possess:

A good foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for delivering high-quality code.
Some hands-on experience with Python or Java.
Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
Exposure to AWS or GCP environments.
