Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing Information Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both development and security operations, with a passion for integrating security practices into the DevOps process. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage security tools and practices within the CI/CD pipeline.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks.
Develop and maintain automated security testing scripts and tools.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices.
Continuously improve security processes and practices.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell.
Knowledge of security tools and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, SCA, SAST, DAST).
Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.

Role Overview

Working within the Legal team the Data Protection team works to support all business areas in the UK. The Data Protection Advisor will complete data subject access requests, along with other data requests. Working collaboratively with relevant areas you will investigate data breaches and complaints as well as assisting the business with privacy related queries. You need to be a confident communicator, highly organised and have a clear understanding of Data Protection legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Be a key part of the team responsible for overall customer contact on data protection related queries
Coordinate the investigation and resolution of data protection queries and complaints across the JD UK business operations
Ensure individuals’ data protection rights are satisfied in compliance with data protection laws, including rights to information, of access, to rectification and to erasure
Ensure that all data is handled in the correct manner when dealing with individuals’ exercising their data protection rights
Assist the Data Protection Officer and JD Group Legal Team with data protection compliance for the JD Group
Assist with data protection audits and spot checks to monitor compliance
Support the business in conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments
Assist business areas in maintaining data protection champion relationships, identifying risks and issues
Ensure the ROPA (Record of Processing activities) is maintained
Maintain relationships with all JD Group subsidiaries
Attend data protection training/events to enhance knowledge of data protection laws and practices

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:

Well organised with strong attention to detail.
Good knowledge of UK data protection law
Experience in handling customer complaints effectively

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner in Commercial Finance Digital to help teams deliver exceptional online performance and support the priorities of the Digital Centre of Excellence.

As the Finance Business Partner – Digital, you will work closely with leaders across the Digital function including Product, Digital technology and Customer data to fully embed financial support into key leadership decision making. You will support all Digital teams to ensure roadmaps, plans, investment decisions and business cases are supported by robust financial analysis and insight. This involves owning Digital cost lines and reporting of core KPIs to financial and non-financial stakeholder to drive the delivery of ongoing performance.

Main Duties

Provide commercial support to the Associate Director Digital and the Head of Business Partnering on all Digital priorities, roadmaps, workload and investments
Drive successful business outcomes by being a true partner to the Digital business, providing financial analysis, strategic insights and financial support for teams within the Digital Centre of Excellence.
Key stakeholders include Product teams across web, app and in-store technology, digital technology, customer data, Procurement
Business case development and tracking – ownership of key business cases for digital Product, Tech and Data initiatives. Provide insight into ROI. Track programme/project progress against strategic goals
Input and understanding of month end reporting, working closely with operational finance team, enabling better forecasting and support to CoE
Work closely with colleagues in Commercial Finance (in Digital and broader Finance Business Partners) as well as across the Finance function

Skills/experience/knowledge Needed

3years+ CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant
Commercial Finance / Business Partnering / Business Analysis experience essential
Particular interest in candidates who can demonstrate experience in ecommerce, marketplace, technology or digital sectors more widely
Excellent attention to detail
Strong data analysis and financial modelling skills
Ownership of workload and ability to summarise and prioritise effectively

As a Technology Release Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, managing, and overseeing software releases across various IT environments. We have outsourced the execution layer for Digital Release Management, and we expect this person to take a hands-on approach to consolidate processes and unify toolsets that are currently separate between Digital and the other business areas (Retail and Supply Chain). This role is key to ensuring efficient, standardised release processes across the organisation while driving stability and reliability in IT services. We are committed to supporting the internal growth of this function so that it evolves into the governance and enablement layer for the Group Technology Release Management function.

The Technology Release Manager will oversee release management across Digital, Retail, and Supply Chain business areas, working towards a consolidated and standardised approach to release management. They will collaborate closely with project managers, development teams, QA teams, and key stakeholders to ensure a consistent and effective release process across the organization. to implement structured release management practices and continuous improvements in the release lifecycle

What You'll Be Doing:

Manage the outsourced Digital Release execution layer, ensuring alignment with Retail and Supply Chain release processes.
Work towards consolidating release processes and toolsets across business units to establish a unified framework.
Develop, implement, and oversee release management strategies and processes.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Ensure proper version control and documentation for all releases.

Governance And Compliance

Lay the foundation for a governance and enablement function within the Group Technology Release Management framework.
Establish governance frameworks and best practices for release management.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and enforce change control policies to manage risks effectively.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with development, QA, operations, and business teams to ensure smooth releases.
Act as a bridge between technical and business teams to align release expectations and outcomes.
Communicate release schedules, risks, and impacts to relevant stakeholders.

Risk And Issue Management

Identify potential release-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Manage release-related incidents, ensuring rapid issue resolution and minimal business impact.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience working in hybrid IT environments, managing releases across both on-premises data centres and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Extensive experience in end-to-end release management execution, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and post-release reviews.
Strong understanding of release governance frameworks and best practices, with a proven track record of implementing structured release management processes.
Experience in managing large-scale releases across multiple business units, ensuring seamless integration between Digital, Retail, and Supply Chain.
Strong background in ITIL-based Change & Release Management, with expertise in risk assessment, compliance, and quality assurance.
