ForIn this role, you'll provide both remote and onsite support specifically for Focus Group employees. Your responsibilities will include offering 1st and 2nd line assistance to support our growing business. Daily tasks involve managing a help desk queue, collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues, and ensuring tasks are completed within the specified S

What we're looking for
We believe the future of MSP's lies in automation and self-service so were now looking for a passionate Automation Engineer to help us transform the customer journey, from service ordering to support, into a seamless, self-serve experience.
As our Automation Engineer, you'll join a team that are the architects behind self-service capabilities that wow our customers and boost internal efficiency. You'll collaborate across teams to automate workflows, streamline processes, and deliver intuitive platforms that empowers users.

What will you do?
As our Automation Engineer you will work with key stakeholders and other automation experts to:
Develop solutions using technology to support the businesses and customers automation and integration requirements
Produce documentation related to the produced tools (how to guides, technical manuals)
Provide support and troubleshooting to existing scripts and tools built to provide automation efficiencies, for both internal usage and customer facing
Work with the Technical Leads and Proactive Services teams to develop automation activities for our RMM Tools (Datto)
Using technology and RPA tools, provide support on the automation of repeat activities within the organisation such as billing activities
Provide support on complex technical faults relating to SQL, PowerShell etc

What you'll need
Windows client and server scripting knowledge
PowerShell scripting experience across a large estate
Experience in administering and supporting the latest Microsoft Technologies
Hands-on operational approach with the willingness to get involved with a range of business activities
Strong analytical skills to assess complex processes and identify automation opportunities
Experience with databases and database management including Microsoft SQL
Nice to have
Worked in an IT or Telecom Managed Service environment previously
Knowledge of RPA technologies and tools
Knowledge of Microsoft applications including PowerBI and PowerApps
Rewst (or other low-code automation platform experience)
