THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS
At Gravitee.io, we are on a mission to empower organisations to unlock the full potential of their digital ecosystems. Our Solutions Engineering team is at the heart of this mission, helping customers solve complex challenges with tailored, innovative solutions.
As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be a trusted technical advisor to our prospects and existing clients, guiding them through their digital transformation journey. Your role will directly impact our growth by ensuring clients understand and leverage Gravitee’s platform to its fullest.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Your daily to-do list will feature some or all of the following, but is not limited to:
Drive Technical Sales Success: Partner with Account Executives to lead the technical sales process, demonstrating Gravitee’s value and transforming prospects into happy, successful customers.
Understand & Solve Customer Challenges: Dive deep into customer needs, conducting discovery sessions, delivering impactful product demos, leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and providing expert technical guidance.
Support and Grow Existing Accounts: Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Technical Account Managers to ensure our current customers maximise the value they get from Gravitee, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Foster Strategic Partnerships: Engage with partners and service providers to explore new opportunities and technical collaborations that extend Gravitee’s reach and impact.
Shape the Future of Gravitee: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to influence product evolution, provide customer feedback, and contribute to webinars, blog posts, and other content initiatives.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS The right candidate will possess at least the following skills, if not more:
Professionally Fluent in French and English
3+ years in a previous Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect or Solutions Engineering role for a B2B vendor
A track record of providing solutions and engaging with technical (e.g developer and architect) customer personas
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present advanced technical topics and deliver tailored demos to different audiences
Experience working in middleware technology, ideally within API management, IAM or integration
Good knowledge of REST, JSON and XML
Some scripting experience, ideally with Java or JavaScript/Python
Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Ability to design deployment architectures (HA, DR, etc)
Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, continuous integration and continuous delivery processes as well as experience with Linux
Creativity and innovation to come up with new material to have people discovering and learning about Gravitee
DESIRED SKILLS - Additionally, these skills are not required, but preferable:
Understanding of Event Driven Architectures and APIs
Understanding of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
Knowledge of Kafka, gRPC, GraphQL
Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI Agent frameworks or platforms

THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS
As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a support team dedicated to making Gravitee’s products best in class both in terms of features and in UX. From time to time you will also be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our customers. This is a hands-on, critical role in our organisation and is highly technical. The right candidate will enjoy problem-solving with our clients in a highly specialised way. Gravitee clients are the end-users of our platforms and are as technical as you are!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Assist the support team to help customers have the best experience possible with our products
Interact with the Product Owner to help define the future of Gravitee’s products
Develop new end-to-end features: from design to implementation (develop and integrate APIs and the front-end interfaces and visualisations they power to deliver product features)
Work with other team members to develop and maintain new features
Participate in Tech Sprint during which the focus is made on improving the existing codebase
Share your (tech and non-tech) knowledge during our internal Gravitee TechTalk
Leading the investigation of multiple Support Tickets and working collaboratively to understand and resolve customer issues providing the best solution possible
Prioritising issues and giving our customers (both internal and external), located in multiple countries and time zones, the level of duty and care they need to help implement our platform in their environments
Creating knowledge articles to complete our documentation and enabling customers to better understand product use cases
Being innovative within the team and with customer to help improve processes and tools
WHO YOU ARE - The right candidate will possess at least the following skills:
5+ years of professional experience in application development
You are fluent with modern versions of Java and have used it in wide backend applications
You already have successfully built a UI app using TypeScript with Angular or another modern web framework
You understand the value of writing automated tests to prevent regression bugs
You like sharing knowledge and continuous learning is important to you
You are curious about and want to be part of all aspects of a project like CI,dependency management, and vulnerability management
You are patient, resilient and have great problem solving skills
You possess great attention to detail and provide accurate solutions to internal and external stakeholders
ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS
Backend Skills : Java 17Spring (Data, Security etc.)

As the Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our customers. This is a hands-on, critical role in our organization and highly technical- the right candidate will enjoy problem solving with our clients in highly specialized and technical ways. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

3+ years of relevant experience in a previous hands-on Level 2 Technical Support
2+ years experience with REST and RESTful APIs
Eager learner, ready to dig into many technical areas
DESIRED SKILLS - Additionally, these skills are not required, but preferable:
Networking/web architectures including HTTP
Containers / Cloud Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with Access Management products, Identity Providers, Oauth2 protocol, JSON Web Token standard
Experience with databases (ideally MongoDB or RDBMS), search engine (ElasticSearch) is a plus
Experience with trace analysis, debugging, and JVM troubleshooting is a plus
