A world leading aircraft manufacturer is seeking a Lead Design Engineer to join its Wing Plant Engineering Team in Broughton, UK. This role supports the Wing Component Delivery Teams (CDTs) by providing engineering solutions for manufacturing non-conformances and design investigations to maintain high product integrity.

Rate: £44-£50 per hour Umbrella or PAYE equivalent

SUBJECT TO BPSS+ CLEARENCE - Candidate must hold settled status or a British passport

Key Responsibilities:
Lead design investigations and provide technical solutions for manufacturing non-conformances.
Ensure compliance with Design, Airworthiness, and Safety requirements.
Act as a technical focal point, providing guidance and mentoring team members.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage technical issues effectively.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering and production teams.

Key Requirements:
T200 Concession Design Approval (current or past).
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
Strong problem-solving skills with a risk and opportunity management mindset.

It is desirable for this role to be performed with a base in Broughton Plant, however there is a possibility it can be performed from Filton if all competencies and abilities can be demonstrated. Flexible days assumed but could be a double days contract also; this is negotiable

An great opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a world leading aerospace manufacturer on a 12 month contract as a Quality Lineside Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

· To provide specialist Quality support and advice on drawings, parts, processes, and support services, and to independently assure that Quality requirements have been met.
· Assures that the Quality system is being adhered to within the business by the business through surveillance activities.
· Assures that certification processes are consistently defined and applied within the business.
· Coordination and leadership of reported quality / technical issues from business teams and customers, ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken by the accountable function through use of multifunctional team activities and that the originator of the issue is informed.
· To perform initial investigations (e.g., Events, QLB’s, NC’s) to assess probable root cause, informing the accountable function and ensuring corrective and preventative action is taken (ambition is within one shift) preventative action to be taken through problem solving analysis through multifunctional team activities.
· To conduct investigations to assess the probable root cause of any deficiency noted during process confirmation activities, informing the accountable function, and ensuring corrective and preventive action is taken.
Quality experience is essential – would consider a more junior candidate who has come from a relevant quality degree or has a few years’ experience in a quality role

Required Skillset:

· Ability to interpret drawings.
· Ability to problem solve and use associated problem-solving tool sets (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa etc)
· Good interpersonal skills - ability to challenge appropriately whilst maintaining strong relationships.
· Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data and draw conclusions.
· Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross functional team members
· Quality or engineering based background (desirable) within a major manufacturing industry.

Working within Production Design Support (PDS) is a highly rewarding role as you not only see designs coming to life in the manufacturing environment but you can help to shape the design of the products and test equipment, delivering support to our customers.

Responsibilities
You will act as the interface between our design teams and our manufacturing teams while working alongside other support engineers to provide knowledge and support.
Whilst the primary aim is focused on highly advanced module missile programmes and subsystems, there is also scope to work on other unique opportunities including support to launcher assemblies.
The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas of electronics.

Skillset/experience required:
To be suitable for this role, Individuals will be able to demonstrate a number of the following attributes:
· Degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.

Location: Greenwich, London
Shifts: Rotating Days and Nights every 2-weeks (Monday to Thursday)

Are you an experienced engineer with a background in electronics and optical manufacturing? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer to join their dynamic team in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for manufacturing operations.
Prioritise and resolve critical manufacturing issues efficiently.
Ensure quality and safety standards, driving continuous improvements.
Analyse production data to identify trends and provide feedback.
Manage and resolve technical JIRA requests in a timely manner.
Support new product introductions and collaborate with development engineers.
Design simple station interfaces and maintain test stations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in fault analysis of electronic assemblies and field returns.

Shift Pattern:
Days: Monday 06:00 – 16:45, Tuesday – Thursday 06:00 – 17:15
Nights: Monday 18:00 – 04:45, Tuesday – Thursday 18:00 – 05:15
Shifts rotate between days and nights on a bi-weekly basis

Skills & Experience Required:
Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Optics, Opto-electronics or equivalent preferred.
Experience in electronics/optical manufacturing and fault finding in electronic assemblies.
Knowledge of optical components, measurements, instruments, and principles.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and a commitment to lean working environments.
Experience in automated assembly, test measurement processes, and data analysis.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
