Job Description
New contract opportunity available for a DV Cleared Data Architect for a leading Defence Sector Client in Corsham

Need active UKSV DV clearance to start
£750-800 p/d inside IR35
Corsham Location – 3 days per week on site
12-month contract – high likelihood of extension
Experience required in data governance, modelling, analysis, and problem management

Skills Required:
Communication: Engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitate multidisciplinary discussions, advocate for teams, and manage diverse perspectives.
Data Communication: Tailor data to end-user needs, using visuals and presentations.
Data Analysis: Perform profiling and source system analysis; present clear insights for data usage.
Data Governance: Ensure compliance through governance practices and assurance of data solutions.
Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation with tools and data applications.
Data Modelling: Develop, maintain, and reverse-engineer data models to meet organisational needs.
Data Standards: Create and analyse data standards, assessing the impacts of breaches.
Metadata Management: Maintain accurate repositories and manage complex data/system integration tasks.
Problem Solving: Investigate trends, consult experts, implement remedies, and propose preventive measures.
Strategic Thinking: Understand and contribute to strategic planning, contextualising work within broader goals.

Role Requirements:
Develop a high-level data architecture (HLD) for the new system and update the transformation roadmap as needed.
Participate in key stakeholder and project meetings to maintain team cohesion and collaboration.
Design and assure multiple data models, aligning them with organizational needs and the data strategy.
Establish standards and processes for data architecture and oversee the data product lifecycle.
Ensure systems align with enterprise data architecture, addressing data storage, movement, and hardware requirements.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build efficient data architecture.
Provide expert advice, enhance knowledge transfer, and contribute to a cross-programme product roadmap.

QUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER

New contract opportunity available in Broughton for a Quality Conformance Engineer to support the quality industrialization of Aircraft modifications
On-site in Broughton
Occasional option to WFH
£31.56ph via Umbrella
35-hour week over 4.5 days
Overtime at a premium rate
Initial contract until December 2025
BPSS clearance required (client will provide sponsorship)

WHAT WILL THE QUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER BE DOING?
The main responsibility will be to drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and facilitating improvements to increase performance, reliability and repeatability of processes. Other roles include:
Deploying APQP and Quality Standards
Supporting & Facilitating Failure Mode & Effect Analysis
Creating & updating Control Plans to incorporate modifications as required

WE NEED THE QUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…
A sound understanding of aircraft manufacturing and process improvements
Experience looking at preventative and quality methods
Experience looking at modifications on the aircraft
Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, CP and PPV methods

New contract opportunity available in Filton for a Landing Gear Systems Engineer with a focus on Braking Control and Wheel Steering Control Systems

£59.49ph (inside IR35)

WHAT WILL THE BRAKING & STEERING CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER BE DOING?
Working with and supporting the Engineering team to develop the technical solution
Ensuring that Design Review deliverables will result in a mature and easily Certifiable product
Supporting and enabling the development of V&V planning throughout the design development life cycle
Resolution of technical (in-service) incidents (concept design, drawing technical notes, instructions or specifications) ready to be manufactured or repaired, challenge customer requests technically and economically
Identify Risks and implement Mitigations and Opportunities in order to deliver to the Program

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…
5+ years’ experience in Aerospace Systems Engineering or Landing Gear experience
Understanding of processes and requirements e.g. V&V
Experience working systems equipment e.g. equipment design and investigation
Experience managing subcontractors
Ability to answer in service, airworthiness and FAL queries

WHAT WILL THE SYSTEMS INSTALLATION INTEGRATOR BE DOING?
Working to ensure mature, robust, and fully optimized wing systems installation designs to cost, time and quality
Supporting frontline engineering activities covering multiple systems such as fuel, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical across the wing perimeter
Representing the Design team across all programmes
Managing day to day manufacturing issues i.e. non-conformities and design evolutions
Support to Final Assembly Lines
Stakeholder management, including suppliers and resolving any wing/aircraft delivery blockers

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…
Experience in fluid, mechanical or electrical systems installations
Proficient in CATIA
Ability to influence decisions in a complex network of stakeholder and customers
Current or previous systems installation signature delegations are desired, but not essential
Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance
