Senior Software Engineer – Build the Gateway to Filigran’s future - Woman/Man/Non-binary
Job Description
Filigran – Cybersecurity for those who protect, in a culture that protects you

At Filigran, we build cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions that thousands of analysts, security teams, and crisis responders rely on to stay ahead of cyber threats. Our open-source products, OpenCTI and OpenBAS, are used worldwide by governments, enterprises, and security communities.

Where we’re headed: We raised €35M in late 2024 to scale our products and accelerate our vision. One of the most critical parts of this journey is XTM Hub, the central gateway to Filigran’s entire ecosystem.
Why engineers love working at Filigran: We don’t just build great products—we’ve built a culture where people thrive, feel supported, and want to stay.
A culture of trust and balance. We work hard on things that matter, but we also know that a great product comes from a healthy, focused team—not from pressure.
A company built on trust, collaboration, and well-being. Our turnover is low because people feel good here.
Full remote, async-friendly, and human-first. Work when and where you perform best—without micromanagement.
Small team, big impact. Every engineer has real influence on the product, the stack, and the company.
Your impact: The XTM Hub will be the first touchpoint for users entering Filigran’s ecosystem. It’s not just another SaaS platform—it’s the front door to cybersecurity intelligence, designed to empower security professionals globally.

The role – Build, Own, and Scale the XTM Hub

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take a founding role in the development of the XTM Hub. You’ll work in a small, high-impact team alongside an Engineering Manager, a Product Owner, a Staff Engineer and a Software Engineer — with direct access to our leadership.
Your mission
Be a key builder of the XTM Hub, making it the main entry point for all Filigran products.
Own end-to-end features: from concept to production, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance.
Shape the technical foundations of the platform, working closely with the EM and Staff Engineer.
Collaborate directly with product and leadership to translate vision into a concrete, high-quality user experience.
Lay the groundwork for scaling the team, helping structure technical processes and best practices.
Engage with the open-source community: XTM Hub is set to become open-source, giving you the opportunity to contribute to a wider ecosystem, interact with external developers, and drive adoption.

Tech stack & Tooling

We believe in using the right tools for the job while ensuring our engineers have a modern, efficient environment to work in.
Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL (Relay)
Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL APIs
Infrastructure: Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
Observability & Tooling: GitHub, Grafana
You don’t need to be an expert in all of these, but you should be excited to work in this ecosystem and be able to ramp up quickly.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for experienced engineers who are excited to build, solve complex problems, and contribute to a meaningful product.
You have 5+ years of experience building and shipping real, scalable applications.
You deeply understand how to build robust, maintainable frontends. You design scalable, high-performance UIs that are easy to extend and refactor over time.
You don’t just consume APIs—you think about how they should be built. You are comfortable with modern web architectures, middleware, authentication flows, and API design (REST/GraphQL).
You code with intent. You’re proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, and you have experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and server-side environments (Node.js, Deno, Bun, etc.).
You are product-driven. You care about UX, performance, and making technical choices that improve the user experience.
You take ownership. You don’t wait for specs to be handed down—you drive discussions, challenge ideas, and propose better solutions.
You want to build something bigger than yourself. With XTM Hub going open-source, you’ll have the chance to interact with a global community of engineers and security professionals.
You are comfortable working in an English-first environment. Our documentation, discussions, and async communication are all in English.
If you’re looking for a role where you simply execute predefined tasks, this might not be the right fit. We need builders — engineers who thrive on ownership, problem-solving, and shaping the future of our products.
