Job Description

Senior PHP Developer (Laravel & PostgreSQL) – Brussels (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team for an exciting development project in Brussels. This role involves building a new system from scratch, ensuring seamless system integrations, and planning data migration from an existing platform.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a PHP application using Laravel and PostgreSQL.
Implement 30 screens based on detailed functional specifications and use cases.
Lead the development efforts with the support of a Medior PHP Developer.
Oversee system integrations, collaborating closely with our IT expert.
Plan and execute data recovery from the old system.
Ensure database architecture and performance optimization using PGModels.
Develop front-end components using Bootstrap when necessary.
Work onsite in Brussels for at least two days per week.

Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in PHP development with a strong focus on Laravel.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database design.
Experience with system integrations (APIs, third-party services, etc.).
Knowledge of PGModels for efficient database interactions.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, especially Bootstrap.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience in data migration and legacy system upgrades is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English (French or Dutch is a plus).
