As a Tech Lead you will:
be the Tech Lead for a small team responsible for building crucial reusable components which are ‘consumed’ by product engineering teams across the business and plugged in to various parts of the core product. This is NOT simply developing internal services.
partake in wider strategic initiatives, asking (and hopefully answering questions) like: "how can we strategically improve the quality and maturity of the front-end or back-end?" and "do our services fulfil developer needs as well as end customers?".
be excited that the maturity of the team and indeed the concept it low and thus it’s a chance to have a huge impact across the whole of the business. You'll lead a team of 1 for now, with plans for further growth.
You'll be someone who...
has worked commercially with both React + Typescript on the front-end and a JVM language or Python on the back-end. Please note this experience is non-negotiable.
is keen to balance IC responsibilities with gaining meaningful progression by leading projects, contributing more to design/architecture and driving good engineering standards/best practices.
enjoys collaborating and finding efficiencies x-team with the end goal of delivering an outstanding product to the customer.

They're seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help:
lead infrastructure automation initiatives using IaC principles
architect and implement multi-region, highly-available cloud solutions
implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for distributed systems
optimise system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency across global infrastructure
You’ll succeed in this role if you have solid experience with:
working in a high-growth scale-up SaaS company in a DevOps or SRE role
