The Role:
Trend Micro is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our channel team. The partner ecosystem is rapidly evolving, with managed services, MSSPs becoming crucial for technology adoption, consumption, and end-user security. This role will focus on owning our UK&I strategy for managed service partners, including MSSPs, SOC partners, and system integrators.

In This Role, The Person Is Responsible To:
Integrate Trend Micro into existing partner-offered managed services and collaborate with partners to develop new services.
Identify and onboard new partners (local System Integrators, SOC-Partners, Consulting Partners) within Trend Micro's strategic alliances ecosystems.
Enable and support these new partners in implementing Trend Micro's strategic solutions.
Develop and expand relationships with existing partners.
Build, execute, and manage joint go-to-market activities and business plans with partners.
Achieve predetermined business objectives and identify additional revenue potential within strategic areas.
Provide consulting and support to partners in specific sales cycles and market activities.
Facilitate connections between new partners within Trend Micro.
Collect and communicate partner feedback to internal stakeholders, such as product management.
Represent Trend Micro as a spokesperson at events and trade shows.

You Are:
Results-oriented and able to work under pressure
Self-motivated and capable of overcoming obstacles
Excellent time management skills
Quick learner with a desire to stay ahead
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
Comfortable presenting to large groups at shows and events
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

You Have:
5+ years of experience in a similar field
Strong network across the UK/Ireland partner ecosystem
Knowledge of Managed Services, Managed Security Services, and SOC
Ability to articulate value proposition and possess a technical understanding of SOC, Cloud, Datacentre, and Security topics
Experience in strategic alliance management and working with system integrators
Proven track record of sales success and consistently achieving or exceeding MBOs or quotas
Comfortable working with top management of new partners

Overview:
The Sales Engineer (SE) will be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers. The SE will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to help close business by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone

Responsibilities:
Provide solutions to complex technical issues in the pre-sales capacity
Provide Proof of Concept service to pre-sales customers and help clients with planning and implementation of Trend Micro software products
Channel feature requests to Product Management to enhance Trend Micro products with new features that address customer needs
Participate in alliance projects including building vendor and customers relationships
Participate in Trend Micro beta testing programs including internally testing products in alpha and beta phase
Must be able to provide software/network troubleshooting on complex technical issues
Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and beta (non-released) Trend Micro products
Assist in development of the Knowledge Base
Provide product trainings upon request
Share best practices with other SEs to enhance the quality and efficiency of the other members
Contribute to building the SE Readiness Program and develop Subject Matter Expertise in assigned products and solutions
Must be able to travel regionally (about 30-35%) and perform sales presentations, marketing and user group events, and emergency on-site support to customer locations
Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimal supervision to provide detailed technical knowledge of Trend Micro software products in the pre-sales context

Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with drive, enthusiasm, with a strong work ethic & a desire to learn and develop their career within cyber security!
If you are early in your career path, but have great experience within Cyber Security as an architect, developer, network or systems engineer, or similar, but interested in growing and developing a career in Sales Engineering, then we would love to hear from you!
We are also are taking applications from more experienced Sales Engineers or Security Specialists who have:
3+ years SE experience and/or professional services experience
3+ years’ experience in computer software or systems including security products (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, content security)
Experience working with multi-cloud environments such AWS, Azure or GCP
2+ years SOC or IR Experience an advantage

Desirable Experience:
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification
CompTIA Security+ Certification
Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
Experience and understanding of Cloud architectures. AWS Certifications are preferred.
Basic understanding of security incidents, network administration and management of security solutions including endpoint/server, web filtering, email filtering and IPS
Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash
Ability to manage own time effectively is a requirement for success
Quick learner with desire to learn new tools and techniques
Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients
