Position:Cybersecurity Compliance Consultant

Location:100% REMOTE -EST hours

Duration: 12-18 month contract with potential for conversion

Pay Rate Range:$60+/hr W2

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

Works with different stakeholders to conduct complex cyber governance assessments and risk analysis.
Participates in stakeholder meetings to provide cybersecurity subject matter expertise to disposition noted non-compliance/gaps in assessments.
Express/convey information to individuals or groups effectively
Completes risk documentation on noted cyber non-compliance

Requirements:

3+ years Cyber Risk Management or Cyber Governance Background
Experience with cybersecurity risks, frameworks, and requirements.
Strong Communication

Plusses:

Experience at a large financial institution
RSA Archer experience is a plus, but any usage/familiarity of a Governance Risk and Compliance tool is acceptable

Key job responsibilities

Our team develops detectors consisting of deep computer vision and Machine Learning (ML) techniques, that require the ability for team members to conduct research and methods that can identify these defects with high-accuracy and low friction that they optimise to achieve both low latency and cost to operate for customers at scale.

Lead engineers are expected to have a strong understanding of core SDE computer science skills that enable them to dive deep into algorithmic performance e.g., data structures.

About the team

The team is based the client’s engineering Centre in London and consists of engineers with a variety of backgrounds. We work closely with other engineering teams, including teams based on the US west coast and India as well as in London.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience programming with Java, Python and AWS
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with developing and deploying Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) at scale
- Experience with large scale foundational models and transformer based architecture (GenAI)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

The Data Centre Technical Operations Engineer, Facility will be responsible for Data Centre Engineering Operations within our clients Data Centre including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting.


Responsibilities:


• Work with IT managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
• May assist in the design and build out of new facilities.
• May assist in projects to increase current facility efficiency.
• Responsible for asset and inventory management.
• Assist in recruiting efforts
• Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met

Basic Qualifications:
