The Company
We are part of the key area Big Data & Advanced Analytics and provide market data across the bank. Our responsibilities include the provision, distribution and contribution of data as well as the connection to exchanges and data services.
As a global hub for market data – with our locations in London, Frankfurt & Lodz – we are the direct link to the business, our vendors & the top management of the bank. We are responsible for market data licenses, terminals & platforms as well as the bank-wide market data budget.
Your tasks
Tasks:
You apply your cross-asset market data expertise to provide advice and analysis on market data products
You advise internal customers on usage rules, accessibility and commercials around market data
Our stakeholders are typically in a product owner or front office role. You work with them on a project basis and drive forward the implementation of holistic and tailor-made solutions
You help to develop our business, especially in the optimisation and automation of processes
From the very beginning, you take on responsibility, create partnership with our stakeholders, draw on the many years of experience of our collegial team and continuously expand your knowledge
Your profile:
You have successfully completed a university degree
Ideally, you have worked with market data in a previous role and already gained experience in a trading or risk area
You have a good understanding of different business units, their processes and how market data is used
You can demonstrate some fundamental IT understanding
You feel comfortable reading and decoding license terms
You think analytically, cross-functionally and show a pronounced ownership attitude
You show strong communication skills and have a feel for addressing different target groups

A leading corporate banking and capital markets organisation is seeking a Digital Markets Quantitative Researcher to join their team in London.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Commerzbank has a programme of developing its cross-asset electronic pricing and trading capability which requires an investment into quantitative trading techniques.
Commerzbank is seeking to leverage its expertise in trading electronic FX into other asset classes. The role covers FX, Rates and Commodity flow products.
Key Activities and Competencies:
Improving electronic pricing, trading and risk-management of FX spot, FX swaps, Interest rate derivatives, Commodities and NDFs
Integration of Futures markets into the electronic trading landscape for pricing, trading and risk-management.
Collaboration with various stakeholder desks, including FX Spot, Forwards, NDFs, Commodities and Rates
Specialist Knowledge:
Previous experience as a quantitative trader/ developer in electronic financial market products
Experience of Java for development of latency sensitive trading systems
Use of python for analysis and scripting
Q/KDB+ is desirable
Experience of pricing interest rate derivatives and futures markets
