Cloud Architect - £100k
Are you an experienced Cloud Architect looking for an exciting new challenge? This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge cloud projects, including infrastructure builds, migrations, and big data solutions. You’ll be involved in both hands-on technical work and strategic advisory, providing workshops, design recommendations, and guiding technical teams. Additionally, you’ll become a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, helping shape their cloud journey alongside the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of cloud solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native services.
Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies.
Manage stakeholders across different teams and backgrounds.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and policies.
Provide pre-sales support, contributing to proposal development.
Maintain ownership of solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring quality and successful implementation.

Who We’re Looking For:
A self-starter who can work independently and manage their own workload.
Expert knowledge of AWS (experience with GCP and/or Azure is a bonus).
A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
Strong communication skills, with confidence in engaging with clients professionally.
Understanding of on-premises technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, or Hyper-V.
Hands-on experience in cloud architecture, with a background in Linux/Windows system administration or backend development.
Experience with Configuration Management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and Container Technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Mesosphere).
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (essential).
Role Details:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
Based in London (office locations also in Dublin, St Albans, and Glasgow)
