Interim Senior Front End Engineer
Job Description
As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will be dedicated to planning, designing, building and implementing the user facing systems of Loadsure’s critical websites, software programs and web based applications. Improving user experience whilst avoiding errors or downtime. The position will work alongside the insurance and product teams to develop a successful user interface for our network of direct clients and brokers.

You will be highly organised and comfortable building relationships and working with all levels of the firm. Stakeholder management and communication will be vital to the success of the role.

Key Responsibilities;
Re-theme and enhance the functionality of Loadsure’s critical products within an existing Next/Vue.js application
Build and iterate functional prototypes within an agile manner using React and associated frameworks (e.g. Next.js or Remix)
Analysing, designing and creating high quality solutions that are maintainable, scalable and adaptable to future business needs and technology trends
Building applications as platforms that can easily integrate with other services and enable seamless addition to new functionalities
Design and build reusable components and code libraries whilst maintaining brand consistency throughout design
End-to-end ownership for the delivery of key initiatives and leading peers in the delivery of broad initiatives as a technical lead
Collaborating with other engineers and teams, to design and develop new products to complement our existing range of InsurTech products
Applying agile practices to software development activities
Participate in code reviews, documentation and the development of coding standards and best practices
Providing mentorship a to more junior engineers, as well as peers, as well as coaching to meet internal coding best practices

Skills and Qualifications;
Essential;
5+ years' experience as a Senior Front-end Engineer or similar senior engineering role
Expert-level proficiency in React, including experience with frameworks like Next.js or Remix
Experience with Vue.js
Strong proficiency in TypeScript
Experience crafting polished, responsive, and intuitive interfaces that align with modern web standards and best practices
Experience with frontend testing frameworks and tools, such as React Testing Library, Vitest, or similar
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Experience with cloud technologies and API driven solutions
Analytical and detail-oriented
Excellent problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing technical environment

Desirable;
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Experience with CI/CD
BI and reporting tools implementation experience
Transportation or insurance industry experience

Job Description
As a Data Scientist you will be a key member of the Data team collaborating with product and engineering teams to further develop an understanding of needs. Your primary role will be to research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis enabling smarter business processes by using analytics for meaningful insights. While mining, interpreting, and cleaning our data, this person will be relied on to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover hidden opportunities for realising the data’s full potential.

Help the product team by analysing product usage data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing new product features

Skills and Qualifications;
Essential;
c. 5-7 years experience within Data Science ideally with experience as an Data Scientist or similar
Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modelling
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (ex: Java/Python, SAS, R)
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several concurrent projects
Accuracy and attention to detail
Very strong communication skills - having the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Self-starter who takes initiative

As an Analytics Engineer you will be a key member of the Data Team. Your primary role is to partner with the business to bring robust, efficient and integrated data models to life. Advocate for data quality and trusted data to help ensure all data is profiled, reviewed, and accurate to support critical decisions
Design and develop code that addresses key business requirements whilst also looking to address future potential questions
Craft SQL code that meets our internal standards for maintainability and best practice for a high scale database environment. Maintain & advocate for these standards with code reviews
Help consolidate and distil data points gathered from across the business and from multiple sources (e.g, internal databases, Salesforce, BambooHR) and convert said data into business friendly data models which can support them with actionable insights
Collaborate with the rest of the Loadsure Data team to support internal and external reporting and analytics requirements to provide actionable insights

Skills and Qualifications;

c. 5-7 years experience with BI/Analytics, ideally with experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar
Experience advocating for a data-driven decision making environment in where you have strived to improve process, establish best practices and define standards
Strong SQL experience and skills
Familiarity with designing and implementing data models
Excellent project management, time management and organisational skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
