User Researcher I Knutsford I Financial Services
We are working with a great consultancy who are on the ookout for a UX Researcher to join one of their Financial Services clients. The role is due to start in March until the end of June.
You will need to be in Knutsford 2/3 days per week and the day rate is £313/day Inside IR35.
Experience:
Hands-on experience with: behavioral and ethnographic research, iterative lab/guerrilla usability testing, tree testing, benchmarking, remote/online testing (eg Userzoom/Usabilitytesting.com, Optimal workshop), survey design and analysis
Solid skills in wireframing & rapid prototyping using Axure, InVision etc
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities, with first-rate attention to detail and presentation skills
Stakeholder interviews and management
Deep understanding of user journeys, personas, user stories, task modelling, usability and human-centered design
Experience of working closely with UX, visual designers and developers, to drive effective user research
Workshop: Discovery, requirements gathering and co-creation
Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design in general

Good working knowledge of AGILE software (eg Rally/AGILE Central, Jira, Confluence)

We are working with a great consultancy on the lookout for a Senior Backend Engineer who has proven extensive experience or a proven track record of handling multiply projects or larger, more complex systems.
Ability to grasp and understand both Technical and Business aspects, which enables them to make strategic technical decisions that impact multiple teams or even entire departments within engineering while delivering solutions that delight the business/product.
Takes a broader scope, often overseeing multiple projects or cross functional efforts within engineering and providing leadership in the teams/squads.
Expected to work closely with enterprise/solution architecture stakeholders to write the application architecture design for the solution(s)and guide/mentoring the technical leaders of the squad(s) within Frontend Engineering to design and architect a scalable and reliable solution meeting business needs
Skills: Node.js: Efficient runtime for building server-side applications.
Typescript: Open-Source programme language superset of JavaScript with additional features.
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE): Managed service for deploying and scaling containerised applications.

1. Evaluate the current state of the European Tax rules.
2. Able to have a face-to-face discussion with the business in terms of the tax rules.
