An innovative and fast-growing fabless semiconductor company is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team that spans IC Design, RF Design, Embedded Software and Systems.

This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering organisation developing cutting-edge RF technology for the mobile and wearables industry, with a mission to redefine how RF front-ends are designed.

The Director of Engineering role is ideal for an experienced and driven engineering leader who thrives in a high-growth, collaborative environment and is excited by the opportunity to shape engineering processes, culture, and technical excellence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide line management to a diverse team across RFIC, system integration, module design, and embedded software.
Set clear performance expectations and support professional development across the team.
Define and implement engineering best practices, including design reviews, version control, and documentation standards.
Promote scalable methodologies for ICs, RF modules, and embedded software.
Establish robust processes for simulation, measurement, validation, and compliance.
Drive effective day-to-day engineering execution and resource planning.
Contribute to long-term strategic planning and roadmap development.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven track record in engineering leadership, ideally within a fabless semiconductor
Hands-on experience managing multidisciplinary teams across IC design, software, and validation functions.
Strong background in engineering lifecycle management
Technical expertise in RFIC, analog/mixed-signal design, or RF module development.
Passionate about team development and building scalable engineering cultures.
