We’re seeking a proactive and visionary Platform Engineer who thrives on building scalable, secure, and reliable systems. This role is crucial as you’ll be the end user of a new product we’re developing, shaping the infrastructure of our predictive analytics engine while influencing the user journey and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1⃣ Platform Engineering & Cloud Security
Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud environments, with a multicloud focus and cloud security best practices.
Utilize tools like Cloud Custodian for policy enforcement and resource compliance across cloud infrastructure.
2⃣ Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
Automate deployments and optimize resource management through robust IaC workflows.
3⃣ Backend & API Development
Design and maintain RESTful APIs for real-time data analysis.
4⃣ DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for seamless deployments.
Champion best practices in DevSecOps and automate security checks during the software delivery process.
5⃣ Data Engineering & Machine Learning (Bonus)
Support data pipelines and manage distributed data processing workflows in Databricks or equivalent platforms.
Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production workflows, particularly for time series forecasting.
Skills & Qualifications:
Cloud Proficiency: 2+ years of Azure experience; familiarity with AWS and/or GCP a nice-to-have.
IaC: Skilled in Terraform, Cloud Custodian and DevSecOps practices.
Backend & Data Engineering: Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and data pipelines.
ML knowledge (Bonus): Experience with Databricks, and time series forecasting or anomaly detection.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience Level: 3-5 years in engineering, with a strong focus on backend development, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), and data engineering in Databricks.
