Safety Engineer (Aerospace)
Predominantly remote, occasional trips to Cheshire
12 month Contract (8 hour day/40 hour week)
£75-£80 per hour (Inside IR35)
SC Clearance
We are looking for an experienced System Safety Engineer to join our client’s Aerospace team.
You will be required to lead the system safety assessment for a number of aircraft modifications under the direction of the Lead Engineer.
You must have worked with military Aircraft recently and be familiar with associated safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce safety assessments/cases acceptable to the customer and/or regulator.
Apply safety standards and design/implementation techniques for safety.
Risk Identification and implementation of various analysis techniques.
Apply standards such as FAR/CS 23/25.1309, Def Stan 00-056, IEC61508 or similar system safety standards to aircraft modifications.
Prepare and maintain hazard and/or accident logs.
Prepare and maintain System Hazard Analysis Reports.
Develop artefacts to support the safety assessments.
Provide safety input to project and design reviews.
Manage safety activities undertaken by other organisations and acceptance of the safety deliverables.
Provide support to bid and proposal activities, including generation of estimates for safety aspects of the programme.
Key Skills:
Experience in a Safety Engineering role within military aviation.
Experience of working to and delivering the associated safety artefacts of, FAR/CS 23/25.1309, Def Stan 00-056, IEC61508 or similar system safety standards.
Experience in the equipment qualification process in the airborne domain i.e. working with DO-160 or similar.
Systems hardware experience working with industry standards and/or guidance material i.e. ARP 4754 and/or 4761, DO-254 or similar.
Systems software experience working with industry standards and/or guidance material i.e. Def Stan 00-055, DO-178 or similar.
Aircraft Certification process experience

Data Centre Architect
Remote / Cheltenham - a lot of this work can be done remotely, however travel to our client’s office in Cheltenham, as well as periods of time in Riyadh are required.
12 Month Contract, 37.5 Hours per week

Our client is leading a really exciting opportunity to support with customers in Riyadh on a large-scale Data Centre programme.
They are looking for an experienced Architect to define the Data Centre and Operation Room strategy and defining their requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with customers in the Middle East to understand their requirements for a new Data Centre.
Define and develop a Data Centre and Operational environment strategy and roadmap.
Identify the scalability and functional requirements for immediate and long-term requirements.
Understand the requirements for migration of existing Data Centre environments and capabilities.
Define the operational business continuity and resilience requirements
Evaluate site physical and security considerations for a national level cyber capability.
Define the physical, virtual, environmental, internal, and external networking and connectivity requirements.
Create RFPs and an implementation roadmap for Data Centres and Operation environments, locations, and rooms.
Ensure industry and best practices are adopted.
Write strategic and business requirements into functional, non-functional requirements across people, processes, and technology.
Provide input into the operational cost model for the delivery of the services.
Define the Data Centre build and transition road maps for implementing the operational and technical capabilities.
Key Skills:
At least 10 years of experience working in Data Centre architectural design and specification, including at least 2 years working on the design of solutions.
A mature understanding of how to turn service and operating models and processes into technical capabilities and requirements.
Previous experience in leading the development and design of Data Centres and supporting infrastructure.
A mature knowledge and Data Centre Power and cooling, structured cabling and networking, security.
A mature understanding of physical, private, and cloud-based Data Centre architectures and technology including virtualisation, micro services, and containerisation
Previous experience in developing and producing large outcome-based RFPs.
Experience writing Use Cases and Requirements Elicitation, Definition and Management.
Ability to communicate with complex stakeholders.
Ability to perform and manage risk assessments and capability gap analysis.

Full Stack Software Developer – Cheltenham, Cambridge, Bristol, Manchester or London – Permanent (37.5 hours per week) – £45,000 - £85,000 (different levels available) – DV Clearance
Our large Consulting client work within the Defence industry to provide clients with functional and innovative web applications.
You will be role designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications so will need experience across the full lifecycle and will have the opportunity to utilise those skills across exciting Government projects!
You will need to have experience within Defence/Government organisations and an understanding of their practices, as well as experience working with both front-end and back-end technologies.
Working Patterns: This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week on site but candidates will have to be willing to travel up to 4 days per week UK wide if required.
The Key Responsibilities of a Full Stack Software Developer:
Design, develop, and deploy robust web applications for the Government and Defence sector.
Work across the entire software development lifecycle in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Create responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
Develop secure and efficient server-side logic, utilising languages and frameworks.

An experience of UX principles to create applications that are accessible and user-friendly is desirable.
Proven ability to develop and maintain well-documented RESTful APIs for seamless system communication.

My client is a software solutions consultancy who provide specialise in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and much more.
They are looking for an IT Support Technician to oversee IT systems and services, including hardware configuration, installing software, and managing networks and working on an IT helpdesk.
If you also have experience creating technical documentation user manuals and guides this will be highly beneficial for this role.
This role will be based in the office 5 days per week on site
The Key Responsibilities of an IT Support Technician:
Meeting with the IT manager to discuss system needs.
Develop, update and maintaining documentation for technical projects such as Data Centre operations.
Collaborate with IT facilities and Project Managers to produce technical requirements.
Designing and installing computer hardware configurations, including MDM deployment using a secure design.
