About the Role
As a Data Scientist at Nisien.ai, you'll develop AI models to detect and prevent online harms, working with engineers and policy experts to build scalable tools for content analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimize ML models to detect online harms (misinformation, hate speech, harmful behavior)
Analyze data and create visualizations to uncover online harm patterns
Develop NLP solutions for text classification and content moderation
Handle large datasets from social media and digital platforms
Work with teams to integrate AI solutions and define requirements
Track AI research advances in online safety and digital ethics
Help build scalable data infrastructure for rapid tool development

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a project from the ground up while working in a supportive and innovative environment.

Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
Strong Python proficiency with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience with large-scale data processing and SQL.
Proven track record of deploying ML models to production with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Nice to Have
PhD in relevant field.
Experience working with datasets related to social media, content moderation or cyber risk.
