Job Description
We’re seeking someone to join our Software team who is eager to take end-to-end ownership of diverse and challenging software projects. As a skilled developer, you’ll integrate features into our existing C++17 and C++20 codebase using your knowledge of object-oriented programming, idioms, and software patterns. Your craftsmanship and adherence to the “boyscout rule” will elevate our product and codebase to new heights.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a small team of C++ developers.
Manage the overarching software layer for multiple products.
Develop and maintain interfaces (GUI, CLI, SDK) for customers.
Automate development processes using tools like CMake, unit testing, and Azure pipelines.
Test code in real-world scenarios beyond the developer’s computer.
Prioritize readability and maintainability over complex solutions.

Requirements:
Excellent C++ knowledge and a passion for staying up-to-date with language evolution.
Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years).
Proficiency in OOP methodologies and code patterns.
Demonstrated ability to dig into topics and persevere (e.g., home projects, hackathons, coding challenges).
Familiarity with both Linux shell and PowerShell.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Python.
Knowledge of modern CMake.
Experience with Azure DevOps and pipelines.
Familiarity with Qt6 in C++.

This will give you an extra boost:
You have experience in coding outside of work-related content (hackaton, tinkering at home…)
Experience in (software) design patterns
Experience working wih Agile
