Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk and working closely with the Head of Information Security, the role will support in managing the Bank’s Second line of Defence (2LOD) for cyber security, assuring compliance with the Bank's Information Security Policies and Standards and overseeing the effective implementation of security controls through engagement with the Bank’s cyber security operations team (1LOD).
Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
Supporting the management of the Bank’s Cyber Security function maintaining compliance with our NIST based cyber security framework.
Responsible to Head of Operational Risk for Information Security RCSA framework, in particular regulatory compliance, and tolerated risk exposure.
Act as Cyber Security expert within the Second Line of Defence (2LOD), providing advice and guidance to 1LOD on best practice cyber security and to business driven change activity.
Working with the Bank’s Enterprise Architect to ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with BACB’s IT Security policies and Standards
Ensure the Bank can effectively respond and recover from Cyber Security Incidents.
Working with the Head of Information Security on ways to defend the Bank from current cyber threat landscape, identifying emergent threats and recommending innovative controls and mitigations.
Work together with the 1LOD and provide evidence that IT Security operations are within risk tolerances (e.g., Evergreen IT, Patching, Vulnerability scanning and Pen Testing) (supported by a 2nd member of the 2LOD team)
Oversee compliance with the Bank’s cyber security standards and policies liaising with CIO (1LOD) where responsibility spans Lines of Defence.
Maintain security performance metrics/ KPIs, recommending improvements where appropriate.
Effective use of specialist tools and logging to review the Bank’s cyber status and perform requested “deep dives” as necessary as well as define automated alerting mechanisms, ensuring that these alerts can be assessed and investigates independently by 1LOD and 2LOD.
Engaging with the CIO and the Head of Information Security to ensure that sufficient/ effective cyber defences are implemented, giving the Bank value for money for any procured Cyber Security solutions, including Cyber Risk Insurance.
Responsibility for the effective bank-wide cyber security training and awareness.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Educated to degree level (or equivalent), possessing at least one security accreditation (e.g., CISM or CISSP)
Good working knowledge of cyber security standards (i.e. NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR).
Previous experience in the practical use and management of products such as Defender, Darktrace and Mimecast
IT security management knowledge, skills, and experience.
Familiarity of firewall rulesets and the requirements for effective cyber defence.
Familiar with the Microsoft stack from Desktop products to server products to Azure
Working in Financial Services or another regulated market, such as aviation or energy.
Managing the delivery of an organization-wide information security related strategy
Knowledgeable in common Data Leakage reasons and effective prevention.
Working with on premise, public and/or hybrid cloud environments
Conducting security-based investigations, the management of such inquiries and liaison with external BACB engaged investigation parties.

Job Summary
Part of a small team responsible for development, maintenance & support of automation processes of business workflow using technologies including both UiPath and Power Automate. The role requires strong Automation industry experience (7+ years), preferably within financial services and experience with Power Automate is a MUST.
Familiarity with technologies like RPA using Microsoft/365 automation, Microsoft Power Automate (Power Platform) is ESSENTIAL. Experience in UiPATH, Workflow, OCR would be advantageous but NOT essential. Strong Power Project skills (primarily Business Process Flows and the use of Gateways to access data) are also essential. UiPath administration and development skills preferably required. This role would be expected to pick up and work across all of these technologies as the current automation robots employ both Power Automate and UiPath.
The idea candidate will have the background and experience of analysing business requirements and existing manual workflows and automate them using Power Automate and UiPath. The role is also expected to maintain and support existing automation robots and participate in review of the existing automated processes and propose and implement improvements to the existing process automation delivery approach and process configuration management. Backend experience in upgrading UiPath Orchestrator and Studio as well as Power Project environment management experience would be ideal.
Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
Design, build and support automated processes using Power Project or UiPath where appropriate (Power Project is a MUST, UiPath experience would be beneficial but NOT essential)
Participate in Business and automation workshops, contribute to application delivery, recommend best of the breed solutions.
Provide business and functional analysis
Manage & execute the engagement along all change phases: requirements, functional specifications, technical analysis/design, Build, Test, and Deployment.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand stakeholder needs and offer analytical support.
Document automation processes and required configurations.
Work closely with the Application Services team to ensure any automation platform improvements do not impact existing automations and workflows.

Update existing technical documentation and produce new where missing.
Migration from the use of shared folders to Microsoft cloud storage solutions such as Sharepoint
Introduce configuration management to track changes to Automation platforms and processes through their whole delivery lifecycle.
Recommend best of the breed solutions to improve SDLC, bring the best industry standards.
Propose and implement improvements to existing Office automation delivery processes, i.e. introduce automated solution delivery solutions
Propose and implement improvements to the UI Path production incident troubleshooting process.
Additional Outputs
Review/advise on best practices for a setup of a new Power Automation platform for BACB
Identify existing UiPath automation processes that could be migrated to Microsoft Power Automate platform
Required Qualifications and Experience
At least 7+ years of experience working with UI Path and Power Project
Very strong knowledge and experience delivering Automation solutions – both development and administration.
UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer
Certifications in the following would be beneficial: Power Project Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals PL-900, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate PL-100, Power Platform Developer Associate PL-400
Hands-on regular knowledge and use of products such as workflow and OCR based tools.
Broad IT knowledge, skills and experience – including appropriate tools, processes and policies used in the development space.
Knowledge of SQL
Experience of working in a structured and regulated software development environment
Previous exposure to Banking/finance operations/process background and Trade Finance would be beneficial

Job Summary
This role is to enhance the analytical and reporting capabilities of the risk team. The role will be within the Policy, Frameworks and Change team in risk but will work across the risk team to support the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data and insights to support decision making across credit and market risks. The role will lead on risk appetite reporting for the Bank covering financial and non-financial risks as well driving the implementation of assurance sampling for the Bank.

Own the reporting of the Bank’s risk appetite measures as well as other key management information reports including highlighting key trends, changes, areas for attention or focus
Work in partnership with the Director of Policy and Frameworks, front office and operations to build consistent, accurate and timely enterprise level risk reporting including appropriate explanatory notes or narrative (support understanding the ‘so what’)
