FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially an 8-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully remote role.
As a Data Analyst focusing on ePrivacy, you will be an integral part of our client’s dynamic team, working collaboratively to ensure the success of their projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for managing system testing, analysing data, and producing insightful visualisations to support stakeholders. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and governance.
Responsibilities
Oversee testing, production releases, defect management, and reporting
Work in an agile environment to deliver projects efficiently
Present findings and project updates clearly and effectively
Compile requirements and manage delivery through various project phases
Manage system testing and write testing scripts with stakeholders
Analyse testing output for user journeys and data feeds
Document testing results for governance purposes
Understand and work with APIs and data
Read and analyse JSON payloads
Understand database structures and API data feeds
Perform process modeling with tools like Visio
Analyse data with Excel/Tableau and produce data visualisations for stakeholders

Requirements

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Networks Product Owner to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Solihull.
The Product Owner of the IT Infrastructure Network Service is responsible for defining, planning, and delivering the vision for our client’s network infrastructure products. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, prioritising features, and guiding the development team to ensure the successful implementation of network solutions that align with business objectives whilst maintaining accurate financial control of the Network Products.
The role requires an experienced leader, versed in agile product delivery with strong technical acumen and the ability to deliver a high-quality, reliable IT services that enable business productivity.
Responsibilities
Working in conjunction with the Foundation Services Product Manager to develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the network infrastructure
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into a product backlog
Prioritise the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility
Work closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality network solutions
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the network products meet performance and reliability standards
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the network infrastructure remains competitive
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the network products
Maintain clear and concise documentation related to product requirements, decisions, and releases
Oversee the complete lifecycle of the Network estate, including planning, deployment, and retirement of hardware and software
Ensure that all Network products adhere to the company's security standards and compliance requirements
Oversee the scheduling and deployment of software updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system integrity and performance
Work with the SACM Product team to maintain an accurate inventory of all network devices, ensuring effective lifecycle management
Oversee the resolution of complex technical incidents and problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions
Manage O365 licensing to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a product owner or product management role
Ability to design and understand complex network topologies and architectures
Skills in managing network-related projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring
Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
Familiarity with switching protocols like STP, VLANs, and Trunking
Awareness of security protocols including IPsec, SSL/TLS, and AAA (RADIUS, TACACS+)
Understanding of application layer protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and DHCP
Experience with network devices from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc
Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances
Experience with load balancing technologies and strategies
Familiarity with wireless networking standards and equipment
Understanding of cloud networking concepts and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)
Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios
Proficient in ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Experience in product management, preferably in an IT or network-related field

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a DevOps Engineer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Leeds.
Our client is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to help design, implement, and manage their cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role will require you to work closely with developers and IT teams to enhance our development and operational processes, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of our applications. The client is keen to find someone who can support 13 Legacy Data Platforms running on Windows Server and SQL Server.
Responsibilities
Respond and resolve incidents promptly
Troubleshoot & diagnose to minimise downtime and impact on users
Lead RCAs to identify underlying causes of recuring problems or events
Setting up, fixing, improving deployment pipelines and CI/CD
Monitor the performance and health of systems and infrastructure, ensuring they run efficiently
Perform regular maintenance and updates to prevent issues
Continuous Improvement activities including automation to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
Onboard a new Data Platform (eCollection) into the Run and Maintain team
Requirements
Must have live SC Clearance
Experienced in driving DevOps including tools, ways of working, and culture
Able to facilitate information/business knowledge
Able to act as a business SME and understand what the business needs & how to support this into an efficient DevOps team
