Full-stack Software Engineer
Job Description
We are working closely with a Software Consultancy firm in their search for an experienced Software Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role with mixture of working from home, and out of the Bristol/Cheltenham offices occasionally - usually bi-weekly or monthly.

Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must hold an active Security Clearance (SC), or have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years to successfully complete all stages of the vetting process.

In this role, you will be part of an Agile focussed team and responsible for implementing software solutions including design, development and testing

Key requirements:
Hands on Full Stack experience
Commercial experience using a range of languages / technologies including Java or Python with JavaScript (ideally React) & AWS
Experienced in deploying software systems to a mixture of environments, including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud

Location - On site in Portishead
I am currently looking for a Service Desk Manager with an MSP background to join a well established IT services provider on a 6 month contract.
The company cater to diverse needs such as network architecture, endpoint management, cloud migration, and implementing robust security frameworks whilst emphasizing risk management, compliance, and innovation to optimize IT ecosystems for businesses of all sizes, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
Whilst managing the Service Desk team, your responsibilities will include:
Ensure service delivery aligns to ITIL and business requirements
Ensure delivery against established KPIs and SLAs
Incident Management - including customer communication and issue resolution for all incidents, problems and major incidents
Problem management with proactive identification of trends and root cause analysis
Ensure appropriate service is delivered at all times, across all business lines and that feedback is sought from key stakeholders to fully assess the service quality.
Able to work and manage in a high pressure environment
Understand and have experience working for an MSP

eDV (UK*C) Cleared Security Architect - £750 a day - OUTSIDE IR35 - 12 Months
iO Associates are looking for an eDV (UK*C) Cleared Security Architect for an initial 12-month contract role (OUTSIDE IR35) offering up to £750 a day (depending on experience). You must be a sole British national and have active eDV (UK*C) Clearance to apply for this role.
Our client is offering hybrid working in which you'll be working out of Cheltenham and London - ideally 3 days a week onsite. Our client is looking for someone to start with them within the next few months but are willing to be flexible for the right candidate.
We're looking for candidates with experience in:
Strong experience in Security Architecture and Roadmap / Design.
Experience working with central government clients on classified programmes of work
Must have active eDV (UK*C) Clearance

I am urgently looking for a specialist to join a leading Automotive client of mine to assist with the early success of their vehicle programmes.
This is for a 13-month initial contract where you will need to extract key trends during the planning and delivery phase of the client's prototype builds, reporting insights using both clear and concise visualisation methods. Falling between Engineering and Supply Chain, this role provides a great opportunity to explore and deliver efficiencies within the team processes.
Key Deliverables:
Support Build Engineers in the planning and delivery of early prototype builds via KPI and status reporting.
Ensure accurate and efficient operation of the inventory management system.
Provide meaningful insights into the status of active and upcoming prototype builds, targeting on-time delivery.
Familiarisation of existing team and business processes with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
Management of the BOM across each project/prototype, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in parallel to concept design change.
Identify operational challenges, driving effective solutions via clear communication and data-driven analytics.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modelling to interpret complex datasets related to project management KPIs, vehicle BOMs and inventory management.
Proficiency in various data visualisation and manipulation tools.
Experience using SAP products is preferred.
Experience within the automotive industry is preferred.
