Miryco Consultants are working with a number of financial institutions currently undertaking major cloud migration projects.
As this journey progresses, the need for strong risk & control/governance processes is becoming paramount in order for the business to properly understand risks undertaken, as well as meet regulatory obligations.
I am keen to speak with senior professionals with experience in AWS/Azure migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement technology risk frameworks and strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead risk assessments for cloud migration projects on AWS or Azure, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design risk mitigation solutions and improve technology resilience.
Analyse and interpret complex technical risks, providing clear recommendations to senior leadership.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of risk controls within the technology environment.
Stay updated on emerging risks, technologies, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in Technology Risk/InfoSec/Cybersecurity management within cloud migration projects on AWS or Azure.
Solid understanding of Python and it's applications in technology risk and data analysis.
A strong engineering background with experience in technical roles (e.g., software engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering).
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex, technical challenges.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business language.
Experience with regulatory compliance, cybersecurity frameworks, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Desirable Skills
Certification in AWS, Azure, or related cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Proficiency in other programming languages or tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of risk quantification methodologies and tools.

Miryco Consultants is working with an entrepreneurial, high-growth RegTech Consultancy, servicing top tier asset managers, investment banks, and insurers.
The role will suit an experienced Developer with a minimum of 3 years' experience using Python. Any Java/C# experience would also be beneficial.
Our client are looking for an experienced developer to help the Future Development team. This role will be someone who can build up into a senior developer that can manage their own development team to build out one of the tools that we are trying to deliver.
They will also be able to provide some insights into the typical best-practices for how development teams operate.
Responsibilities:
Getting up to speed with the current code base
Provide insight into current best practices in the industry, based on their experience
Utilizing the existing code base to create additional product offerings from our product pipeline.
As the business continues to grow, you would be involved in bringing additional developers up to speed in how the tool(s) work and helping to design work to contribute to the success of the product offering.
Essential experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a software developer in a commercial environment
Strong python programming experience
Ability to effectively share knowledge of development experience and help junior developers continue to improve their development skills over time
Strong foundations in object-oriented programming
Experience in data analysis and data engineering
Desirable experience:
Experience of embedding graphical output into a web application (i.e. dash)
Experience working with AWS is a plus
Back-end experience supporting website development
Previous experience at a financial firm is a plus
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
