Context
As part of the Electronic and Software Systems department of the company, you will be part of the Software team which missions are:
Embedded software (like the flight program)
Ground operational software (configuration and test management, realtime control command ..)
Telemetry and analysis software
Qualification test tools
Intern's missions
Internship subject: « Web interface development and backend development for a web-based tool ».
The internship consists of developing a web-based configuration tool to replace a legacy configuration database which is used to configure an Ethernet based network. A first prototype of such tool was developed internally, the internship’s goal is therefore to capitalize on this prototype to develop a full-fledged tool.
Missions are:
Complete the set of requirements of the tool, based on user input
Develop the front end with the required features and its associated backend service, based on the available prototype
Interface the tool with other company tools
Use and improve if necessary the internal deployment flow
Test and qualify the software
Required profile
Education: preparation of bachelor / master’s degree in computer science
Technical skills: Frontend and backend web development, database
Soft skills: teamwork, curious
Nice to have knowledge:
Technical skills: Python (especially the django framework), networking (Ethernet based protocol stack)

Based in Reims since 2020, Latitude has quickly become one of Europe's most talked-about light launcher projects . Our team has grown as swiftly as our development schedule, from 10 people at the project's inception to over 140 today.
Responsibilities
As part of the Electronic and Software Systems department of the company, you will be part of the Software team that develops the different software of the launcher and its ground system.
Your mission includes:
Develop software functions needed in the communication with embedded software
Develop software functions for
Launcher-Ground communication
telemetry processing software
Develop blocks for missionization process
Write the documentation associated to the software you develop and trace bugs and evolutions
Write unitary tests for the software you develop
Participate in software integration testing campaigns
Qualifications
You have a strong knowledge in software development (C/C++, Java or Python)
Interfacing with REST API and basic web development knowledge
You are used to work with version control tools such as Git
You have an experience in writing software specification and design documents
You are autonomous, curious, and passionate
You have a good level both in French and English
