You'll have most of the following key skills and experience:
Understanding of Software Engineering Principles: SOLID principles, design patterns, TDD, BDD and DDD, Enterprise Architecture Patterns
Expertise in API Engineering: security, deployment infrastructure, monitoring, API Gateway, micro-services
.Net Technologies: .net core 3.x, ASP.net core, Testing Framework, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API
Database technologies: PostgreSQL or Oracle or SQL server
DevOps: CI/CD, Ansible, Octopus deploy, Dockers. Git
Frontend Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript languages (such as Angular/Vue/React)
Experience in operating in an Agile environment (SCRUM, Kanban)

What you will love at Sidetrade
As a key member of our team, you will join a technical squad composed of QA, Software Engineers, Devops, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to take up challenges related to new functionalities, scalability, security, ergonomy, etc. You will participate in the quality assurance of one of Sidetrade's main products "Cash Apps" by defining and implementing test scenarios, improving automated test coverage and contributing to the entire development cycle. Collaborate on QA guild projects to research and enhance automation solutions, while constantly upskilling through continuous exchanges with colleagues, including internal hackathons. Experience on API tests (REST/SOAP) via Postman or equivalent
Knowledge of databases and SQL language
Familiar with the issues involved in web development

What you'll do:

Requirements

Education: Master's degree (BAC+5) from a top business or engineering school with a focus on business, finance, strategy or data analysis. Bonus points if you're passionate about CSR and sustainability!

Analytical mindset: You love solving problems and working with large data sets doesn't scare you—it excites you. You can sift through complex information and find the insights that matter.

Requirements

We are hiring a Senior System/Network Engineer to be in charge of running our datacenter operations. Member of an international team (System Administrators, DBAs, System Engineers) your main missions will be to manage the daily running of server operations, application operations and the preparation and launch of new projects.
What you will do:
Ensure the proper functioning of physical and virtual servers
Deployment and configuration of new servers with hardening
Correct any operating problems on the servers
Ensure the security of our customers' data.
Manage our hosted applications operations, in collaboration with our customer support team and product development team

Anticipate and plan in terms of hardware, software and network the production launch of new clients
What you will bring:
Around 10 years of experience in system/network engineering
Strong knowledge of Linux, HyperV
Experience in LAN/WAN networking.
Knowledge in SQL Server and Oracle is a plus
Experience in Project Management
Interest and skills on the security field
Excellent English and French (spoken and written)
Ownership and capacity to work on project model, strong team spirit, adaptability and discretion (respect of data privacy)
