DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Are you a DevSecOps Engineer passionate about embedding security into cloud-native applications and infrastructure? We’re looking for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of development, security, and operations, ensuring security is seamlessly integrated into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments. What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and implement security controls within CI/CD pipelines to secure cloud applications and infrastructure.
Automate security testing using tools like SAST, DAST, and IaC security scanners.
Enhance cloud security by securing AWS environments, Kubernetes clusters, and containerized workloads.
Monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Drive security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
Build internal security utilities and frameworks, improving automation and threat detection.
Contribute to incident response efforts, investigating and mitigating security threats.
What We’re Looking For
Min 3 years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud security.
Strong knowledge of cloud-native security (AWS, Kubernetes, IAM, AWS WAF, GuardDuty).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD security and automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Experience with security tools such as Snyk, OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, or similar.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code security (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Knowledge of Python, Java, or similar for scripting and automation is a plus.
Understanding of compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, SOC 2).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in an agile environment.

Are you an Information Security Engineer looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment? We’re seeking a GRC-focused Security Engineer to help scale risk management, security governance, and compliance processes, ensuring a strong security posture across the organisation. This role is crucial in minimising security risks, automating compliance processes, and maintaining industry standards, helping protect a platform used by over 110 million users worldwide.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support and scale security governance frameworks to align with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2.
Monitor, assess, and enhance risk management by maintaining the enterprise risk register and collaborating with leadership on risk appetite.
Conduct third-party risk assessments, ensuring vendors meet security compliance requirements.
Automate security compliance processes, streamlining risk reporting and monitoring.
Help develop and deliver security awareness programs, embedding security best practices across teams.

Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supplier selection, onboarding, and management, working closely with internal teams to ensure an effective and efficient procurement process.
The Role:
Reporting to the Supplier Manager, this role will be instrumental in supporting the organisation’s procurement function, managing a diverse supplier base that ranges from professional services to SaaS providers and IT consultancies. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders, including legal, IT, and finance, ensuring robust supplier governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and rollout of a supplier selection framework, engaging with stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption.
Support business teams in supplier selection, onboarding, and due diligence, ensuring compliance with corporate policies on data protection, information security, modern slavery, and diversity & inclusion.
Maintain and update supplier data records, ensuring accurate reporting and governance.
Assist with ongoing supplier performance management, including audits, KPIs, and incident resolution.
Work closely with the Supplier Manager to provide management insights and reporting on procurement activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to drive best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Support the development of policies, templates, and guidance to ensure consistency across supplier engagement processes.
Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and contribute to internal training where required.
We are keen to speak with procurement professionals who are highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects across different business areas. Please note, the role is 28 hours per week across 4 days.
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
Procurement experience, including supplier selection, onboarding, and due diligence.
Proven experience in supplier relationship management across various sectors.
Strong knowledge of data management systems (SharePoint experience desirable).
Preferred:
Ability to negotiate commercial terms and assess supplier contracts.
Understanding of key contractual and compliance requirements across different supplier types.
