About the Role

The Investment Relations Manager will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing relationships with investors, supporting fundraising initiatives, and communicating the fund’s strategy and performance. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in investment relations, excellent communication skills, and an interest in the transformative fields of cybersecurity and SaaS and Healthcare

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors globally.
Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries, providing timely and transparent communication.
Fundraising and Capital Raising:
Support fundraising efforts by preparing comprehensive pitch decks, financial reports, and marketing materials.
Coordinate due diligence processes and ensure all investor documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Portfolio Communication:
Prepare detailed investor reports, quarterly updates, and presentations on fund performance and portfolio progress.
Collaborate with portfolio companies to gather insights and highlight successes to investors.
Market Research and Strategy:
Conduct in-depth research on cybersecurity and infrastructure trends to identify opportunities and inform investor communications.
Provide insights into market dynamics to support strategic decision-making within the fund.
Event Representation:
Represent the fund at industry conferences, investor meetings, and networking events to enhance visibility and establish new relationships.

Skills and Competencies

Technical and Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of investment relations, venture capital, or private equity.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial and technical information for diverse audiences.
Proven experience creating compelling investor materials.
Analytical and Organizational Skills:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of interpreting financial and market data.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric mindset.
Confidence to interact with senior stakeholders and represent the fund externally.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA designation is a strong advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment relations, fundraising, or a similar role within venture capital, private equity, or asset management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in German or French is a plus.
