One of our key clients, a global financial institution is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the pre-study phase of the replacement of our clients Loan Product Management System as part of a broader EMEA transformation programme, MIT BIT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Banking operations, particularly with regards to Loans as a product, and extensive experience in project management within complex, global environments. The role requires effective stakeholder management across Europe and the US, and a deep understanding of software development life cycles, and strong vendor management skills. The successful candidate will be a responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the IT component of pre-study phase of this critical project, working with the overall PM, ensuring EMEA's requirements are fed into the US Loan re-platforming project and aligning with our overarching goal of cost-efficient and sustainable IT architecture. Beyond this initial focus, there is an expectation that this role will be expected to contribute to the successful delivery of various other projects within the MIT BIT program, covering a wide range of initiatives across the EMEA banking and securities domains.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead the Loan Product Management System Replacement pre-study, ensuring alignment with the overall MIT BIT program's goals and timelines.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders across headquarters, US, and within the European context to ensure clear communication, alignment and support for the project.
Planning & Coordination: Develop detail project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, ensuring all deliverables are met within budget and scope.
Software Development Oversight: Oversee all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for the replacement system, ensuring best practices are followed and quality standards are met.
Vendor management: Manage and control the package vendor, ensuring their progress aligns with project timelines and quality standards. Negotiate with the vendor when necessary to address any issues, delays, or changes in scope.
Risk Management & Escalation: Identify potential risks and issues proactively across all delivery activities, and manage them through appropriate mitigation strategies, escalating when necessary to ensure the overall program remains on track.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
In-depth understanding of the software development process and overall project life cycle.
In-depth knowledge and work experience of banking product and finance, and a strong understanding of the regulatory environment in the banking sector.
Strong experience in IT Project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within complex, multinational organizations, Experience in managing long-term assignments and contributing to multiple projects within a broader program is highly valued.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and control external application vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and timelines.
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple regions, including Europe, with a clear understanding of reginal and global impact.
Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and experience overseeing all stages from requirements gathering to development and post implementation support.
A conceptual thinker who can present complex ideas and topics to a wide audience (both technical and non-technical).

One of our key clients, a global financial institution is looking for a Senior EUC & Container Solutions Engineerto join their team in London.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with issue triage, ensuring users are responded to and kept informed of progress
Ability to work independently, analysing each issue as it is presented in order to effectively route to the correct teams for resolution
Dev Container issue analysis and remediation, including assisting with creating new Dev Containers for use within WSL
Dev Container engineering work, including updating the base image to support new tools and technologies required by developers
Working with developers to understand their container requirements, engineering solutions to support their workloads, helping to accelerate the uptake of containerisation
EUC Technical Skills:
Level 2 desktop troubleshooting for Windows, macOS and Ubuntu operating systems.
Knowledge of End User Computing architecture (including virtual and physical devices, modern management technologies and zero trust principles)
Privilege management software application
Understanding of software installation via standard channels
Experience with Linux/WSL
General awareness of developer workflows and tooling, including best practice and general industry trends
Container Developments Skills:
Experience with the design and development of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and being able to apply this knowledge to assist others undertaking similar tasks
Work with other teams to create portable packages that contain bundled code, tools, libraries
Owning and maintaining a catalogue of container build images, with differing target programming languages, for use by developers, optimising for security and performance
Support of base images, being able to identify problems and performing routine updates (eg certificate changes, configuration changes) where necessary
Develop CI/CD pipelines, particularly to validate changes to container build definition/base image before rollout
Implement centralised logging solutions of containerized environments, allowing them to be used within the parameters set by Cyber
Contribute to development of container strategies and best practices
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of Container cluster architecture
3+ years of experience with container technologies (Docker, WSL, Kubernetes) for Linux and Windows
Good understanding of and experience with creating and maintaining Dev containers
Awareness of container procurement, secure pipeline scanning and best practice
Good understanding of and experience in Programming languages (Python, Java, Powershell,C#)

Role:
The candidate will be working with a global team of experts on modernizing the Firm's SDLC platform to enable deployment automation to private and public cloud endpoints and SaaS-based tooling.
This role affords the opportunity to get in on the ground floor to help build the next-generation of development and deployment tooling across a diverse set of tech stacks for the next decade.
Prior experience in the financial industry is not required; candidates from software companies are welcome.

Primary Skills:
Proficient in Angular, with a solid understanding of core concepts like modules, components, directives, services, and dependency injection.
