Are you passionate about bringing systems to life? Do you have the drive to innovate? We are looking for a Java Developer who has worked in Front Office and preferably in equities (nice to have)

The Java Developer will:

Solve challenging business issues by analyzing the problems and turning them into feasible business requirements
Design, develop and deploy software for Global Equity Systems
Produce software as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC) that is secure, stable, operational and scalable
Meet the high expectations of clients through frequent releases of high-quality software
Support in problem solving and fixing defects in third level production support issues, and deploying fixes to production systems
Write good quality unit, integration and performance testing

Your Expertise:

Software Developer with a minimum of 5 years of programming experience
Extensive working knowledge of Java, specifically the language fundamentals and its application to high performance systems combined with knowledge of database and web technologies
Strong development knowledge on database technology, ideally Oracle or Sybase
Knowledge of object-oriented theory, multithreading and related design patterns
Ability to use a range of software development tools (e.g. example Git, Subversion, Maven, Gradle, Eclipse, IntelliJ, TeamCity, Jenkins)
Experience of automated testing, test driven programming, pair programming, refactoring, code reviews and continuous integration

You'll be required to work in our or our clients office 3 days per week (both City based)

Workday Engineer | Contract (Inside IR35) | Edinburgh (Mostly Remote)

Synechron are in search of a Workday Engineer to work on a backlog for a variety of projects in the UK.

The key skill requirements are as follows;

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience required.
Demonstrated proficiency with developing Workday Integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs. Must have Studio experience.
Knowledge of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, and Payroll.
Demonstrated proficiency in Workday Report Writing.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills using spoken English, including the ability to explain complex ideas to others with varying levels of expertise throughout the organization.

The successful candidate will ideally be able to report to the client's Edinburgh offices on occasion, but the role will mostly be able to be remote.

We’re in search of a number of C# Developers who have ideally worked in an enterprise/big corporate environment. The role will be based in Belfast on a hybrid model at our client's offices in Belfast City Centre (a large investment bank).

This project is a groundbreaking largescale 3 year project within the Markets Technology space , including Equities Tech, Fixed Income Tech, and Markets Ops Tech. Other featured areas will be Finance, Market and Credit Risk Tech.

Job Description

In order to pursue our growth in Luxembourg, we are looking for a new talent:

Test Engineer

What would be your tasks?
Develop and execute test plans for both backend APIs and frontend applications within a Microsoft environment
Automate and manage testing processes using tools such as Postman and Azure DevOps
Test SharePoint and Dynamics 365 applications, including their integrations where necessary
Identify and document bugs and improvements
Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards
Perform regression tests to ensure existing functionality is maintained in new releases
Analyze test results and report findings to stakeholders

What kind of profile are we looking for?
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
Certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Dynamics 365 Fundamental
Strong experience with test automation tools such as Postman, Azure DevOps, or other similar tools
Good knowledge of programming languages such as C# and JavaScript
Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and Open Data protocols
Familiarity with JSON and XML formats
Good understanding of SQL
Proven experience with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365
Experience with Application Insights/Azure Monitor
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Understanding of performance, load testing, and security protocols
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams
Excellent written and spoken English and French or Dutch
