Job Description

Junior Full-Stack Engineer | EdTech Startup | £12M Funding

Looking to kickstart your dev career in a high-growth EdTech startup? We’re hiring a Junior Full-Stack Engineer to join a talented product team building cutting-edge web and mobile applications. If you’ve got 0-2 years of experience (yes, side projects and internships count!) and love working across React, Node.js, and TypeScript, this is your chance to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What you’ll do:
Build and maintain web & mobile applications using TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js
Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to ship great features
Debug, test, and optimise performance to keep our apps running smoothly
Stay ahead of industry trends and keep learning new tech!

What we’re looking for:
Some experience in full-stack development (internships, freelance, personal projects – all count!)
Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
A problem-solving mindset and willingness to take on challenges across the stack
A great team player who communicates well and loves to collaborate

Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in:
Cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Git/GitHub for version control
CI/CD pipelines & testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress
GraphQL & React Native
