C++ Developer | Tech for Good | Up to £70K per annum base | Mostly Remote - UK office
(Offices in Scotland and East England if you prefer to work on site)

We are working exclusively with them to build out a new software engineering function, so looking to speak with C++ Developers that have experience with Visual C++ and a proven track record of developing real-time products, with creativity.
Day-to-Day:
Collaborating closely with product, architects, designers, and fellow developers to assess project requirements, establish project scope, objectives, and timelines
Designing, developing, testing, and deploying desktop and web applications using Microsoft C++ and .NET.
Designing efficient algorithms and data structures to enhance application performance
Deploying applications across multiple hosting platforms, ensuring proper setup and performance tuning
Working across multiple projects at once, with an aptitude to use creativity and bring new ideas to the team
About You:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Visual C++ and C# desktop application development
Experience in developing complex software solutions
Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills

La Fosse has partnered with a PE backed, multi national real estate operator looking for a Frontend Engineer with strong JavaScript expertise. You'll have the opportunity to work on greenfield projects from day 1!
What they're Looking For:
Experience in modern web application development, TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js
3+ years of commercial development experience.
Experience working with RESTful interfaces and an understanding of API design.
Expereince with GraphQL
Familiarity with cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Working with component libraries & atomic design patterns
The role is hybrid in London. The team meet 4 times a week (Central London office).

Lead the automated deployment of Windows 11, particularly in a till environment, to ensure smooth rollouts and updates.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, system management, and troubleshooting.
Manage Active Directory and Group Policy configurations to optimize system performance and security.
Maintain and support till peripherals, including barcode scanners, payment devices, and receipt printers.
Collaborate with retail IT teams to ensure stability and efficiency of store systems.
Utilize AWS technologies, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and RDS, to streamline operations and enhance scalability.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in automated Windows 11 deployment
In depth knowledge of till peripherals, including barcode scanners, payment devices, and receipt printers.
Experience with AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell
