Job description:

Drawing of projects at the request of using a Solid Works CAD software according to the existing norms and performing the necessary studies


Duties and Responsibilities :

• You draw the detailed parts drawings
• You draw project drawings starting from a customer’s demand
• You create the Bill Of Material (B.O.M.) for projects.
• You update drawings for technical manuals and documentation
• Industrialization of the new projects realized in the R&D
• You work on the improvement of the actual product range
• Test your own design and make the necessary adjustments if needed


Profile:

• You have a bachelor in Industrial Design or equivalent by experience
• You have a first significant experience (ideally: 2 to 5 years)
• You can work in French and English (written and spoken)
• You are able to use CAD tools SolidWorks.
• You have knowledge with raw materials: polymers and/or metals
• A knowledge of pneumatics is an advantage
• A knowledge of CE directive is also a plus
• You have a certain machine manufacturing understanding
• You are autonomous and like to work in a team
• You are able to lead project together with client and different departments ( soft, Elec and production

Job Description

As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and using computer simulations to analyze and design complex high-tech products and systems with the use of the most advanced simulations softwares to provide a tailored solution for the clients.

The Key Responsibilities Include

Conducting simulation experiments to ensure the performance, durability and safety of high-tech products
Optimizing the design through finite element analysis.
Analysing simulation results to identify and resolve design issues
Working with engineers and other stakeholders to improve product designs
Providing the necessary calculations and documentation along with your design
Creating reports that document the simulation setup, results, and conclusions
Validating the accuracy of the model by comparing simulation results with real-world test data or analytical solutions
Identifying areas of weakness, excessive stress, or potential failure points
Being involved in material characterization by conducting physical tests to obtain accurate material properties for the models.

Profile / Requirements

You have a master's degree in mechanical, electromechanical or other relevant experiences for model simulation
You have a particular interest in simulation through various programming languages such as python, matlab or Ansys LS DYNA
You are comfortable using design software such as creo, autocad, solidworks, etc.
You are fluent in English and knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You have excellent communication and teamwork skills
You are able to work independently and as part of a team

Function

For one of our biggest client specialized in the Aerospace sector, we are currently looking for an Aerospace Process Engineer in order to work on production lines for products dedicated to the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

Development of industrial means, tools and production procedures, in line with the product specifications. These developments include the specific elements which are linked to the Industry 4.0 principle.
Ensure the maintenance of available industrial means, and assist to the acceptance & validation of new industrial means
Analyses & monitoring of process data in order to control, and if required, optimize the industrial processes
Development of specific technologies, which are used in the production process. The development includes the definition, the validation and the qualification of the technology items.
Introduction of a continuous improvements in the production processes, while maintaining compatibility of the obtained qualification, to maintain a high competitivity of our products.
Making sure that the developed processes are correctly applied and that the operators are adequately trained.
Making sure that the developed products take into account the qualified production processes and the constraints of the available production infrastructure.
Guarantee a follow-up of the technical processes as process owner in terms of evolutions, obsolescence, training, etc …
Evaluate and qualify the technical solutions, in line with the applicable standards and defend the results towards internal/external clients and/or certifying agencies.
Contribute to the monitoring of new technologies, related to PVA and more general production technologies.
Invent and validate new, advanced and disruptive technologies, that could make the PVA product line more performant and competitive, in line with the product roadmap and market

analysis. These new technologies shall be analysed with respect to the projected performance parameters and tested in view of their actual feasibility in a production environment.

Participation in the definition of the product and technology roadmaps
Interact with other sites of Thales Alenia Space to benefit from ongoing developments and lessons learned and to exchange on developments that could be used in other product lines

Profile / Requirements

The candidate shall have an engineering background in electro-mechanics, material science, aerospace, or other relevant fields in view of PVA production.
A minimum of 5 years of experience is requested of which a significant part is gained in process engineering.
A background in production technologies and Industry 4.0 principles is a strong asset
A basic knowledge of electrical engineering is required.
The candidate shall show good communication skills. Fluency in Dutch or English are mandatory. Fluent in both language, potentially combined with French, is a strong asset.
The candidate shall be an open minded team player, that is willing to share his creativity with the different team members.
Cost-aware, structured, rigorous and analytical are other key strengths of the process engineer we are looking for.

L'Ingénieur Process aura la responsabilité de :

Réaliser les P&ID,

Rédiger les notices de fonctionnement et les analyses fonctionnelles,

Réaliser le bilan de masse et de chaleur,

Participer aux HAZOP et faire un suivi des actions,

Rédiger les spécifications des exigences de sécurité (Safety Requirement Specification) des systèmes instrumentés de sécurité (SIS),

Effectuer les calculs de zonage ATEX.

Profile / Requirements

Profil

Diplôme d'ingénieur (orienté chimie, mécanique ou électromécanique)

Expérience d'au moins 5 à 10ans dans le secteur de la chimie ou de la pétrochimie (idéalement également dans l'hydrogène),

Expérience dans le secteur Oil&Gas

Expérience dans la réalisation de P&ID et dans la rédaction d'analyses fonctionnelles,

Participation à des HAZOP,

Maîtrise de la langue française et anglaise

Maîtrise suite Office, surtout Excel

Connaissances Dans Les Domaines Suivants

Réglementation ATEX et PED,

Systèmes instrumentés de sécurité (IEC 61511),
