For one of our clients, and located in Brussels region we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vibration Project Engineer to join a dynamic team.

The Power & Infrastructure Business Line provides high added value activities to the Global Business Units, the power generation sector, grid operators and the industry in Europe. This covers applied research and on-site-field technical expertise.

The international team of 21 Mechanical and Thermal Processes engineers is already well known for its competence in complex problem solving for different component issues in the power energy business as well as general industry. They are also responsible for the online monitoring of more than 100 turbine shaft lines for clients around the world and are regularly called for on-site dedicated measurements and analyses in case of problems. The team works closely with the Materials, Non-Destructive Testing and Electrical expert teams.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
In order to meet the demand for activities related to the identification of problem root causes or design assessment within the Cluster Mechanical & Thermal Processes, we are looking for a Vibration and Mechanics Project Engineer who wants to develop his/her career in the field of Condition Monitoring and Vibrations analysis.
In this role, you will be fully involved in the follow-up of vibration behaviour of turbo generator shaft lines involving complex root cause analysis of rotating machinery. You will also advise our customers regarding the best condition monitoring strategies for their specific assets based on your sound technical and up-to-date solutions knowledge.
You will work alongside a supportive team and will have access to professional development opportunities to help you grow in your own career.
Specifically this means:
Performing detailed vibration analysis of turbo generator shaft lines.
Analyzing mechanical problems and vibration issues of power plant components, adding value in the interpretation of the results and proposed solutions.
Providing advice regarding the condition monitoring potential of existing or new technologies.
Participating in the remote condition monitoring service shifts of power plants main shaft lines.

Your profile:

Hold an engineering degree in a related mechanical or electrical domain.
Communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
Bring a customer-orientation with excellent communication skills, ready to travel within Belgium, Europe, and occasionally outside Europe for short-term missions.
Bring a team spirit while being capable of working independently, taking initiatives, and developing synergies both with internal departments and external partners.

En tant qu'Electrical Design Engineer, vous êtes responsables des études relatives aux équipements électriques de protection (Basse ou Haute Tension), de contrôle-commande, d'automatismes et de mesure des installations Haute Tension du réseau électrique.

Description du service

Assister le chef de projet en phase de faisabilité ou de pré-études du projet.
En phase d'études, élaborer et réaliser les études de conception et de détails, plus particulièrement :
Organiser et gérer le planning de vos études en terme de priorités et délivrables ;
Elaborer les schémas-blocs de protection et les schémas détaillés de principe ;
Participer à la définition et au choix du matériel ;
Veiller à la qualité des études moyennant utilisation d'équipements agréés et conformément aux normes, standards et méthodologies,… ;
Evaluer et particulariser les standards pour le cas concrets à étudier ;
Effectuer un contrôle sur la qualité des études de détails réalisées en externe ;
Veiller au contrôle des documents constructeurs ;
Participer, au besoin, aux essais de réception en usine des équipements électriques.
En phase de réalisation, assurer, en assistance du chef de projet, le suivi des travaux Basse Tension sur site, à savoir :
Garantir pour sa spécialité le contact avec l'exploitant, les fournisseurs et les entreprises de montage électrique ;
Intervenir et apporter une solution en cas de problèmes de conception ou de mise en œuvre sur site ;
Participer, au besoin, aux réunions de chantier traitant les aspects techniques ainsi qu'aux essais sur site et mises en service des installations.
En phase de clôture du projet, mener le débriefing relatif aux études BT et garantir les mises As Built des schémas.

Profil

Ingénieur Electrique ou expérience équivalente en électricité, électronique ou automatismes.
Connaissance d'AutoCAD et applications Windows office.
Très bonne connaissance du Néerlandais et/ou du Français. Connaissance de l'autre langue est un atout.
Vous avez envie de vous investir dans l'apprentissage d'un métier requérant, à terme, un niveau d'expertise élevé et spécifique.
Vous disposez de bonnes capacités de planning et d'organisation, d'un sens des responsabilités.
Orienté « Qualité », vous faites également preuve de rigueur et précision dans votre travail.

Nature and scope of the mission

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the realization of the project. He/she is in charge of the following objectives:

Technical Prerequisite

Engineering master (civil or industrial),

Minimum 5 Years' Experience In a Technical Environment,

Experience on the field is an advantage (erection supervision, commissioning).,
