Automation Engineer - Mons, BE - Freelance - March 1st
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to develop and integrate robotic automated solutions for steel continuous casting and molten steel flow regulation.
Responsibilities:
Design hardware and automation systems to meet customer requirements.
Program Siemens TIA PLC, HMI, and KUKA robots.
Integrate sensors, actuators, control systems, and SCADA/HMI interfaces.
Oversee drafting work, approve drawings, and ensure cost-efficient designs.
Conduct equipment testing, validation, and on-site commissioning.
Requirements:
Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or related field.
Experience in industrial automation, control systems, and systems integration.
Skills in Siemens PLC programming and a basic understanding of steel industry applications.
Proactive, autonomous, and hands-on approach.
Proficient in Dutch & English

Duration: 6 months (with extension)
