Firewall Engineer

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Firewall Engineer. You will manage and support Next Generation Firewalls, ensuring secure infrastructure for our government client. You must have secret clearance for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Build, implement, and maintain Next Generation Firewalls.
Configure security policies and NGFW capabilities.
Administer firewall systems and implement policies.
Provide technical support and collaborate with teams to address security incidents.

Required Skills:
5+ years' experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls & Panorama.
Firewall management across multiple vendors.
Scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible).
Network protocols, TCP/IP, and traffic analysis.
Troubleshooting complex network security issues.
Desirable:
Knowledge of CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability).
Experience in a military-civilian international environment.
Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).

Personal Skills:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Language: English
