Job Description:
The Backend team develops the core of the Alta Video Management System. These are Cloud based distributed systems monitoring and managing Video Cameras, Access Control Systems and Sensors.
The Backend team is responsible for analyzing, developing, designing, and maintaining the entire backend ecosystem. This includes developing new features, adding capabilities and increasing capacities, along with maintaining the existing CI/CD systems and customer deployments.

Has experience working as a software developer.
Has experience in building the backend for large cloud based distributed systems.
Has experience of a backend language such as Go, C++, Java, Rust or Python.

Is passionate about writing high-quality code.
Can demonstrate outstanding technical ability.

Understanding of service-oriented architectures and building cloud-based products.

Job Description:
Please note, this role is remote with some travel required to offices as per business needs.
The main responsibility will be to develop, test and deliver next-generation dispatching solution within client-server architecture.
While a large part of the C# Software Engineer role is development work, the role is designed as a graduate position where you’ll be exposed to the full life cycle of a project, including requirements capture, design, implementation and testing.

Our Guardian Command development team provides mission critical software to UK emergency service agencies, with our primary focus on control room and mobile solutions including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Mobile Data.

Job Description
This role is primarily remote with travel occasionally to our Leicester offices.
The role of the Software Engineer is to work as part of an agile delivery team to design and develop the software solutions. You will work closely with the other members of the development team, then Product Manager, and the Software Test Engineers.
You'll be developing mission critical or supporting software to a high standard, including design, development, technical documentation, and testing.
This role is for a Full Stack developer.
Basic Requirements
You’re not expected to have all of the following skills, but they will be useful in performing your job.
Our typical tech stack is C#.NET backend and ReactJS / TypeScript frontend. You aren’t expected to be fully experienced in these, but will be expected to quickly learn these.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Has experience as a Software Developer or significant experience as a Junior Software Developer
Has experience building front end systems in ReactJS and Typescript (or similar technologies and is willing to learn)
Has experience building backend systems in C# .NET, ASP.NET in modern versions of .NET
Is passionate about writing high-quality code
Can demonstrate good technical ability
Understands modern software development practices and principles, such as SOLID
Understands modern development workflows, including agile process, Git repositories, pull requests
Core Competencies:
3+ years of hands-on full-stack software development using C# and ReactJS/Typescript (or comparable frontend frameworks).
Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns and software engineering principles.
Experience writing and maintaining meaningful automated tests.
Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
Academic and Technical Qualifications:
You must either have NPPV3 clearance, or be willing to be cleared to this standard, which will involve background checks of you and potentially your family
