Job Title: Electrical Field Engineer

Mane Contract Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Field Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality results on large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services and possess the initiative and skills to manage their workload effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met.
This role requires exceptional time management, prioritisation, and communication skills, as well as a proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage technical submittals and builders work drawings.
Develop and update scheduling and tracking tools for the project.
Create and maintain accurate record drawings, design drawings, and O&M Manuals.
Process requisitions, generate purchase orders, and coordinate timely delivery of materials to site.
Liaise with suppliers to negotiate cost-effective pricing for materials and services.
Organise and review draft contracts and quotes.
Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular reviews of project documentation, drawings, and calculations.
Coordinate alterations to working drawings as required by the project.
Drive project profitability, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Assist in all other duties as required to support the successful delivery of the project.
Skills and Experience Required:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within construction or large-scale projects.
Proven experience in project coordination and management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
A self-starter who can work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
A solid background in construction is essential.
Demonstrated ability to lead and drive the successful delivery of large-scale projects.

Job Title: QA/QC Lead

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, quality assurance, and quality control, with expertise in managing inspections, audits, and compliance within Brownfields, LNG projects, or EPC/EPCM environments.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with project delivery and engineering teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
Participate in equipment criticality assessments to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Develop and implement Project Quality Verification Plans.
Collaborate with client representatives to review and execute plans, actions, and mitigation activities.
Oversee and manage project inspections and surveillance for equipment and materials.
Conduct local inspections and undertake vendor data reviews, including MDRs (Manufacturer Data Records).
Develop and/or review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with standards.
Contribute to resource planning and estimates for future project delivery.
Report and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for supplier equipment and materials.
Participate in or lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in electrical equipment construction, installation, or testing.
Proven experience working on Brownfields projects, LNG projects, or within EPC/EPCM environments (preferred).
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor qualification (preferred).
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and intranet-based applications like SharePoint.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

I am looking for a skilled Prototype Build Engineer to join our esteemed automotive client based in South East England.
What You’ll Do
Oversee builds in alignment with the established high-level plan.
Deliver specified vehicle requirements to support necessary DVP activities.
Track, monitor, and report spending throughout the build process.
Provide progress and status updates to the Principal/Senior Build Engineer.
Work within business processes and address engineering issues as they arise, promoting continuous improvement.
Manage engineering change control, ensuring any deviations from functional requirements are documented and approved.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely parts delivery.
Report build issues and drive their resolution efficiently.
Oversee build documentation for customer handover, including vehicle data uploads to the online system.
Lead commissioning, dynamic sign-off, and handover of assigned builds in accordance with the Build Process.
What You’ll Bring
A degree (2:1 or above) in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Automotive Engineering, with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
Ideally, some experience in development programme delivery, particularly in low-volume, high-performance vehicle projects.
Proficiency in CAD-based systems for virtual build analysis, preferably CATIA.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with vehicle and rig data acquisition, testing, and analysis techniques.
A solid understanding of vehicle fundamentals.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
Practical experience within the automotive industry is preferred.
Experience in an automotive test and development environment is advantageous.
Exposure to low-volume, high-performance vehicle programmes.
Knowledge of Hybrid/Electric Drive engineering.
