**Role Summary**
Create, govern, and scale AI‑enabled technical documentation for a fast‑growing insurance AI platform. Serve as the first dedicated technical writer, shaping documentation standards, workflows, and AI integration to enable product adoption and reduce support.
**Expectations**
- Deliver clear, structured content that supports AI‑powered search and automated QA.
- Own end‑to‑end documentation projects, from requirement capture to release and continuous improvement.
- Lead experimentation and adoption of AI and automation tools to streamline authoring, validation, and content discovery.
- Partner with engineering, product, and customer teams to translate complex technical details into accessible materials for diverse audiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement a scalable documentation system and governance model.
- Develop and enforce tone, style, and format standards across multiple contributors.
- Build content pipelines that integrate AI tools (LLMs, workflow automation, grammar/QA assistants).
- Create documentation that supports AI‑driven search, QA, and caller‑facing interfaces.
- Establish feedback loops and quality metrics to continuously improve content quality.
- Reduce support queries and accelerate user onboarding through effective documentation practices.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience writing technical documentation in a rapid software environment.
- Hands‑on use of AI/automation tools (LLMs, Zapier, n8n, Grammarly, Claude, etc.) for workflow enhancement.
- Expertise in structuring and maintaining large documentation systems (e.g., DITA, Markdown, Sphinx).
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
- Ability to lead standards definition and enforce consistency across content producers.
- Excellent written communication, clarity, and storytelling for technical topics.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in technical writing, content strategy, or AI tooling are a plus.
