Role Overview
The CPL is looking for a passionate Junior Video Editor & Assistant Producer to join our Digital and Social Team. This role combines creative video editing with the responsibility of assisting in content production, project management, and social media content creation. You will help produce dynamic content that fuels the CPL’s social channels, engages fans year-round, and elevates the tournament’s digital presence. In addition to editing, you will assist in the production of TVCs, promos, and year-round shows for both broadcast and social media. You will also help manage the CPL’s local and cloud-based archive.
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for cricket, a natural ability to create engaging sports content, and be comfortable working both in an office environment and remotely. An interest in FAST channel management would also be beneficial, as you will contribute to the CPL’s growing digital footprint. You will be expected to use After Effects to create visually appealing content, as well as assist with idea generation and content execution.
This position will initially be on a probation period of three months, after which the role will continue on a rolling monthly contract, subject to performance and ongoing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Produce engaging, high-quality video content for the CPL’s digital and social media channels, ensuring it is tailored to the interests of cricket fans and aligned with the brand’s tone and objectives.

Promo Creation: Edit and produce TVCs and promotional videos to showcase the tournament, key moments, and ongoing CPL campaigns.
Year-Round Shows: Support the production of year-round content for broadcast and social, including behind-the-scenes videos, interviews, and event highlights.
Graphics Creation: Design and produce motion graphics using After Effects to elevate the visual appeal of CPL content, adding dynamic elements to enhance audience engagement.
Content Ideation: Collaborate with the CPL team to brainstorm and develop creative content ideas that engage audiences and expand the CPL’s digital presence.
Assistant Producer Support: Help coordinate content production workflows, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Assist with logistical aspects of show production as required.
FAST Channel Interest: Having an interest in FAST channel management would be beneficial, as the role may involve contributing to the growth of CPL’s free ad-supported streaming channels.
