We are currently looking for our future « O&M Director » for a six-month contract, located in Nantes (44), France.

Starting date: as soon as possible

Your mission:

Reporting to the VP Operations, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance in operational conditions of all Lhyfe's production sites in France and Germany.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the technical and operational management of the operations and maintenance teams: planning, on-call management, heavy maintenance, etc;
You will define and implement the operations and maintenance strategy in line with the company's strategic objectives, in coordination with the VP Operations;
You have the ability to take charge of strategic and organisational issues across the whole of the operations perimeter on behalf of the VP Operations;
You will be responsible for site availability and operating costs, as well as liaising with the industry and innovation teams on facility improvements;
You and your teams will be responsible for quality and safety at the sites;
You will be responsible for the profitability of O&M contracts;
You will prepare the handover of future sites (costing, training, recruitment, etc.).

> Travel will be required in France and abroad, particularly in Germany.

Skills and requirements:

You have at least 15 years' experience in industrial site management (Oil & Gas, Chemicals). You also have a technical background and are a hands-on person. You're also safety-oriented and have experience of working in high-risk industrial environments (Atex, pressurised equipment, high voltage, etc.).

Fluency in English is mandatory.
