We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Security & Authorizations Consultant to design, implement, and manage security and authorization frameworks within SAP BW/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in securing data access, managing roles, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities:
Authorization Management:
Design and maintain authorization concepts for SAP BW/4HANA.
Configure and manage analysis authorizations (S_RS_AUTH) to control data access.
create, modify, and troubleshoot roles (PFCG) for users and groups.
Security Implementation:
Define and enforce security policies for data access across InfoProviders, queries, and reporting tools.
Implement user provisioning and role assignment processes.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure security aligns with business requirements
Provide end-user support and resolve security-related issues
Auditing and Compliance:
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with internal and external security regulations.
Monitor and manage risks related to unauthorized data access.
Upgrades and Enhancements:
Support SAP BW/4HANA upgrades and enhancements, ensuring that security configurations are aligned with system changes.
Implement best practices for securing new functionality.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in SAP BW/BI Security and Authorizatio
Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA authorization concepts.
Skills:
Proficiency in authorization objects (e.g., S_RS_AUTH, S_RS_COMP, S_RS_ADMWB).
Experience with PFCG role design and analysis authorization.
Hand-on experience with tools like SAP Analysis for Office (AfO) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Knowledge of ABAP for debugging authorization issues is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
