Another great new opportunity to join our client as they continue to expand their Tech function as part of an ongoing digital transformation within their business. You'll join a team specialising in delivering the very best in customer engagement across their products, responsible for developing product requirements, road-maps and taking responsibility for encompassing meaningful customer requests into the overarching strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating the product vision/strategy across a wide range of stakeholders as well as ownership of the product backlogs.
This role is based in site in central Glasgow so candidates must be based within commuting distance and be able to be on site 3 - 4 days a week.
Essential experience:
Previous experience in a senior Product role, with several years experience performing a similar role
Extensive experience within a fast paced, multi national, complex private sector environment
Demonstrable experience of having built and delivered road-maps across specific products
Excellent experience in truly understanding customer needs, within a software product context
Experience of working closely with software and product teams to drive the best customer results
Current skills within an iterative, agile software environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills & stakeholder engagement across all levels
Be based or willing to relocate to Glasgow - this is an on site role

In this role, you'll be responsible for line management of multi-disciplinary teams (IT Engineering/Logistics) and acting as point of contact for the team responsible for various functions including break fix calls, buffer stock, logistics, shipping and asset removal service. Your responsibilities: Line management of their engineering and logistics team. You will be a team leader, staff mentor. Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop related hardware issues and talk with various teams internally and externally to resolve these issues. Gathering warranty replacement parts with charge for assets and/or fault components within the equipment's warranty period. Produce both defined and AdHoc reports within required timeframes.
