THE ROLE
The DevOps Architect is responsible for leading the design, implementation and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure and Infrastructure as code
To ensure DevOps systems are scalable, secure and reliable
Accountable for enhancing deployment pipelines, improving system performance, and fostering collaboration across various teams to streamline workflows and drive innovation.
Maintaining documentation and training relating to Devops Systems
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Demonstrable experience in Devops role at an architecture level
Knowledge of Scripting languages such as bash, python
Extensive experience with cloud platforms, AWS and Azure
Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Extensive experience with configuration management tooling: Ansible
Extensive experience with infrastructure as code tooling: Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep
Extensive experience of CI/CD Tooling: Gitlab, Gitlab Runners
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
Understanding of microservices architecture and Restful API's
ITIL V3 Foundation accreditation
